Run Jacob Run...

'ICE, get the fuck out of Minneapolis!'

I haven't really watched much Cable News the last six months.  Seeing the Orange Anus again manipulate the press into sucking so much airtime has been depressing.   I had hoped after his last reign of ignorance and hate they might have learned.  Clearly not.

I've never paid for Fox, and cancelled CNN last fall.  I still MSNow, but the only show I check out now and then is Deadline: White House with Nicolle Wallace. I did tune back in a few times recently to catch some of the coverage of the Government terrorizing Minneapolis.  The senseless government murders of Renée Good and Alex Pretti and the story of 5 year old Liam Conejo Ramos and his father were all gut-wrenching and infuriating.

The main reason I tuned in however, was how it great it felt to see the people of Minneapolis fighting back.   Hearing their reasons, seeing their anger, determination and ultimately, their humanity and spirit was reassuring and a  much need heart recharge.  There were so many citizens and politician's fighting the fight.  I'm not sure anything was hotter than seeing  Jacob Frey, the Mayor of Minneapolis, telly ICE to get the fuck out of his city.

I know many say we don't need a hero, but we do need strong leaders who are up to the battle.  I've lost respect for many democratic leaders who have struggled to meet the moment. Thankfully there are still a handful, like Frey, who are stepping up with the righteous anger, (mixed with empathy) and energy that we need.

A Flash of Flesh 💥

Throw Me Some Love, Dawlin'! 🎉

Beads and bling are a Mardi Gras thing! I'm not sure if the word 'tradition' really fits. I know Mardi Gras organizers certainly don't think so. Flashing a little flesh in exchange for beads and trinkets has become a part of the annual festival, at least a part of the fantasy and lore.

The practice was thought to have started in the 70's, motivated by what else, alcohol.  Since part of the Bourbon Street balcony parade included people throwing beads down to the crowd, it was inevitable someone eventually would want a quid pro quo.

Supposedly started by drunken students, partying on spring break, when one bikini wearing parade goer asked for beads, the drunken frat boy on the balcony asked her to show her breasts first.  So many spring break games involve skin, started primarily, with women showing their boobs.  Thanks in part to DEI, (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion,) men also began flashing a little skin for not only beads, but a little attention.

Frat boys wanted in on the action, not just enjoying seeing skin, but showing a little themselves.  It was too far after that first flash of breasts, that men began unzipping to flash as well.  Most don't actually care, or want the beads, but love any reason or excuse to whip it out and show it off.  No one's complaining, at least not anyone here at FH, or anyone who loves checking out the nude male form.

This year, not only are we presenting some images, but some video as well.  I believe the clip below is from the 'Guys Gone Wild' series, who a Big Easy edition back in 2005.
