Skin Deep: Mister Davis by Anthony Timiraos

'Tall, dark and handsome - the three major qualities of a successful model. Gregorio has all three plus a genuine personality that tops off like a cherry on a sundae.'

I first featured the tall, dark and handsome Mr. Davis (Gregorio) this past June in a profile focused on his work with photographer Greg Lindeblom. (Peligroso) I had previously seen some of Gregorio's images by Charles Archer and had been hoping to showcase his work on the site. Gregorio's physical beauty and presence in front the camera is transcendent and so beautifully captured in this set of images by Anthony Timiraos.

'I photographed him in three separate sessions over a three month period. At the third session, he arrived at the studio with a pink hair! That could be a photographer’s nightmare but we managed to turn lemons into pink lemonade with a series of full body photographs at all angles.'

With Gregorio's beautiful eyes and face, and incredibly hot body, it would seem impossible to find a bad angle, pink hair or not. He's also a model both Anthony and Greg Lindeblom describe as a beautiful guy, inside and out and a joy to work with. Anthony shares Gregorio was wonderful and so easy to work with, even after hours of shooting without a break. Anthony would love to work with him again, but Gregorio recently left South Florida, trading hurricanes for snowstorms and leaving the sun and sand for the midwest.

'Gregorio has a slender, well-defined body so I needed to stage his poses to highlight the natural curves created by his arms and legs. I also got him to arch his body to highlight his back side. It was a wonderful, fun experience collaborating with Gregorio.'

Gregorio is one of the many models that Anthony is featuring in a new photo book that he is currently putting the finishing touches on. As soon as it's ready, I will be sure to let you know. In the meantime, check out my previous features on his work with Richard (HERE:) and Aaron. (HERE:)
