Bruno Cabrerizo in Dona Flor e Seus Dois Maridos

'Captivated by the story, temperatures are going to rise!! Your body will crave dancing, and hearts will beat faster.'

I have to thank Charles, a poster on DreamCap, for introducing me to Brazilian football player, model and actor Bruno Cabrerizo.  Specifically in this case,  Bruno's beautiful bum currently on display on stage in  Portugal in Dona Flor e Seus Dois Maridos.

Dona Flor e Seus Dois Maridos, (Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands) is based on the hit 1976 comedy film which featured Sônia Brag as Dona. Cabrerizo takes on the role of  Valdomiro, the ghostly deceased husband who was played by José Wilker in the film.  Although a bit of an ass, Valdomiro was a great lover, which is why Dona brings his spirit back.  Although she remarried,  the sweet, but sort of boring pharmacist doesn't drive her passions quite the same way.

Dona Flor e Seus Dois Maridos  is a journey into the warmth of Brazil and a dive into the Carnival of Bahia and the most well-known rhythms and melodies of our sister country.  The incomparable work of Jorge Amado, one of the most sensual stories ever, which has already given us hugely successful series and films, is now on Portuguese stages!  The musical version continues it's run at the Casino Lisboa in Portugal until May 17th.

Beware of Poison Oak! Colby by StudioMGphotography

'Whenever I'm working with Mark, he always points and reminds me of the poison oak...'

When you're posing completely naked in the woods, it's always helpful to have a photographer who can warn you about the lurking dangers, especially the poison oak. Pacific poison oak is dominant along the West Coast where Mark G..( StudioMGphotography) shoots, especially in damp forests with bushy areas and sandy soil.  If one's skin comes in contact with poison oak, there can be an allergic reaction involving intense itching, followed by red patches and even blisters.  Something you want to avoid, especially on those exposed sensitive body parts.

Colby appreciated Mark keeping an eye on the oak, especially given they've headed into the woods and down to the beach to shoot numerous times over the last 18 months.  Some of you may remember Colby's first appearance on FH back in spring of 2024. (Bodies of Water) The images were one of Colby's first shoots with Mark, and was also my introduction to Colby's work.  I was instantly drawn to Colby's look, not to mention his vibrant persona and engaging relationship with the camera and viewers.

Mark shares that  Colby has really gone through quite a transformation in the last couple of years.  His experience in front the camera has led to not only an increase in confidence, but a creative desire to push boundaries and continue to build and expand on his already impressive portfolio.   Over the course of those 18 months, Colby also went through major changes in his personal life.  A student when he and Mark first met, he's now graduated and working full time in his chosen career.

I know fans of the male form also know that's Colby's been busy behind the lens, working with many of the top visual chroniclers of the male form.  Given the incredible results of their time creating together, Mark has put together a new photo book featuring images from each of his sessions with Colby.  The book features close to 100 pages of Colby in all his unabashed glory.  Imagery includes full nudity, and also a duo shoot featuring Colby with Kramer. (who I featured earlier this year HERE:)

Comments from Colby

What's changed most since your first shoot with Mark?
Since our first shoot, I have become a professional in front of the camera. Mark has always given me the space to try new things and learn from mistakes when posing.

The book contains several different locations, do you have a favorite?
My favorite location was Hawaii. Little Beach and the King’s Highway were warm, beautiful, sunny, and warm!

What are the pros of working with another male models?
The pros of working with other models are new friendships and useful tips. I have so many amazing friends that I’ve met through modeling and I have learned so many useful tips and tricks from posing with other models.

Given all of the artists and models you've collaborated with. What is still on your bucket list?
I want my work to have an impact in the world. There are a lot of photographers that I still want to create with because there are so many stories that I want to help tell. There are concepts that I want to execute, challenge, and build on. I love to work with creatives that yearn to tell stories and change the world.

The Penguin

The Penguin:  An act of revenge. A humiliation prank involving pulling a guys pants down to his ankles and have him waddle around, mimicking a penguin.

I never really watched Ally McBeal when it originally aired.  I remember seeing a few episodes, but I was still in school at the time, and it didn't really interest me. Still, given the press the show and it's stars got, I was familiar the cast.  I did do two Actors & Skin pieces on two of the male cast members.  Gil Bellow, (HERE:) after seeing him in The Shawshank Redemption.   I also did a Thanksgiving piece on Peter McNicol after seeing him Addams Family Values. (HERE:)

I recently started streaming the series and am glad I finally began to watch.  I'm still making my way through season one, but so far, I'm really enjoying it.  The cast is great, but I could watch an hour of Jane Krakowski as Elaine.  It has the familiar fell of most David E. Kelley series, and although very serious in parts, is also really funny.  I just finished episode 13, and as you can see, it inspired a post.

I'm a sucker for any scene with a nude male model posing for an art class.  In this case, it's a sculpting class taken by Ally (Calista Flockart) and her roommate Renee. (Lisa Nicole Carson)  The male model in this case is Glenn, played by actor Michael Easton.  I've watched some soaps off and on over the years, but I've always seemed to miss Easton's appearances.  I know he spent some time on several soaps including stints on Days of Our Lives and General Hospital.

Glenn, (and Easton) looks exactly like what a typical artsy nude model would look like.  I'm sorry Easton's time on television mostly passed me by as he's incredibly hot in his two episode stint.  Maybe in part, because his character has a REALLY impressive penis.  You can tell Ally is stunned when Glenn first takes off his robe.

The funniest part of the story was the ending.  Glenn and Ally end up sleeping together, but he ends up not interest in pursuing anything more.  Ally enlist Renee to help get a little revenge.  The decide to do the 'Penguin', a sexual humiliation ritual to get Glenn back.  Renee convinces Glenn she wants to pleasure him, and has him drop his pants in a public space, they walk, (waddle) after her for his reward.

Turns out the only reward for poor Glenn is embarrassment.  I'm not sure if the version I watched was the same that aired in the 1990's, but you actually got a wee bit of skin from Glenn, especially for a show on prime-time.  A bit of side butt and crack when Renee pulls down his pants, and when Glenn pulls them back up.  Now, it's much, but given I don't think Easton did any other nudity, (that I could find) a little was enough to grab my attention!
