Seasonal Sightings: 🌱

 I didn't realize that World Naked Gardening Day was coming up until a long-time reader e-mailed last week to remind me.  He also generously included an image of himself out in his own garden.  I don't think he expected I would ask to share it, but I never pass up the opportunity to share the hot behind and a little viewer male.  As you can see, he also helped inspire today's theme.  Check out more naked gardeners on the NEXT PAGE HERE:

Male Beauty by bengie: Wild Gardens 🌳

Find me where the wild things grow, among the greenery, letting nature guide my thoughts.

All art is a reflection of the artist, even when the focus is the nude male form.  Certainly, some photographers share more others, but many lay personal aspects of their lives within their visuals.  This is especially true for photographers who shoot in their own homes, and on their own properties.

If you've followed my  previous pieces featuring Male Beauty by bengie, (HERE:) you know that all of his shoots take place on his property in Chester in the UK.  In previous posts, bengie shared his personal relationship with the property and how it came to be his primary shooting space.  We've seen models shot in his shower, in his bedroom, his back patio and all over the gardens, fields and forests which surround his hom.

Some of my favorite shots from bengie are those where the model is posing with the wild flowers which line the property.  There is something about a wild garden that visually hits harder than any cultivated by humans.  The colors, the way the plants and flowers go wherever they want, guided by the landscape and the sun, not by a plan in someone's head.

I've featured so many gardens, and naked models shot in gardens over the years, I thought today was a good day to highlight some of my favorites.  Of course one of my favorite spotlights the original garden, the Garden of Eden.  Adam was indeed the first naked gardener and I spotlighted him in a three page themed post in the summer of 2024. Saki: Joffrey dans le Jardin 🌻

When a reader of the site recently reminded me that naked gardening day was coming, I knew just where to go.  Many of you many remember my previous piece spotlighting the ultra hot Joffrey watering his garden.  I originally featured the images on the site, taken by model and photographer Saki, back in 2022. (HERE:)

I loved the artist's images of the French actor and model, and noticed recently that Saki was posting images from the shoot on his Instagram, that I'd not seen before.  I've been wanting to feature more of Saki's work, so asked he had many images that I didn't share int he first post.  As you can sensually see, he did.

Joffrey is sinfully sexy in the back garden, even more so given he was shooting sans ses vêtements. (without his clothes)  As an actor and stuntman, Joffrey has certainly posed for portraits and headshots. Joffrey had posed nude before, and seeing Saki's work on Instagram however , he decided he really wanted to challenge himself again with shoot showing more than just his handsome face.

In addition to Joffrey's beautiful face and body, and Saki's skills at capturing it, one of the other elements that makes these images so sensual is of course the setting.   The shoot took place in the back garden outside of Saki's home located just outside of Paris in the French countryside.

I've never owned a property with gardens private enough to stroll around naked in, but I do understand the feeling.  I love being naked outside, and have written before about laying in my backyard naked late at night.  Although I had neighbours fairly close, three was no one behind me, so after midnight, especially on nights without a full moon, it was safe to wander out and lie in the dew covered grass in the darkness.

Since selling my house a few years ago, I've been living in a condo.  Although I do have a back patio and yard, it's surrounded by the backyards of others.  Although I do have a few small garden plots, even late at night, I don't think I'd risk a naked stroll.  When I am up after 1a.m, I do still peak out from time to time, seeing if the coast is clear.  If I do ever find a moment, I'll be sure to share.

In the meantime, I appreciate all the naked gardeners and other models who share their outdoor naked adventures.  If you've check out my previous posts featuring Saki's work, (HERE:) you know that he's shot other models dans le jardin, as well as other locations, both in, and out of his home.  As a model, Saki's also shot self-portraits in various locations, including one of my favorites, his skinny dipping series in the Mediterranean. 12 Days: Roman Luknár in The Garden 🪴

'After quitting his job and facing family drama, a man retreats to his grandfather's rural garden. There, amid unusual encounters and a forbidden romance, he discovers a new path in life - one that leads him away from his urban past forever.'

Can you imaging having a back garden with an old bathtub in the middle of it!  Having a large garden can be a lot of work though, but they can also be magical. That's what Jakub discovered in the 1995 comedy Záhrada. (The Garden) Born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia [now Slovak Republic] actor Roman Luknár plays Jakub, one of over a hundred film and television roles he's taken on since his first professional role in late 1970's. 

Jakub is a daydreamer, but his father is tired of his son's idleness and throws him out of their flat. He tells Jakub to sell the old garden he owns and to buy a place of his own. Jakub retires into the neglected garden and retreats into the worn garden house from the world and from his problems. The garden turns out to be a magical place full of surprises and mysteries. 

Although Roman did not have a frontal in The Garden, he did show it all in two other films.  Although it's very dark, Roman had several nude scenes in the 2000 drama Jadviga párnája. (below)

Roman also had a 'quick or you'll miss it' frontal walk  by in the 2007 rom-com Medvídek. (below)  Thanks to xyzpdq (Scenes of Male Skin) for providing video clips, (so that I could make caps) from all three of Roman's nude scenes.
