Sibling Saturdays: Jonathan and Kevin Sampaio

They walked hundreds of runways in the past few years but now they want to conquer the world from a footwear factory.

Jonathan and Kevin Sampaio were born in Paris in 1986, but later moved to Felgueiras, a city located in the North of Portugal.  Both brothers were busy working models in the 2000's, living in New York and living the dream.  They have since moved to the creative side of fashion with the footwear industry. Their label made in heaven,  refers to the paradise of life in Portugal.

Although their footwear looks cool. (HERE:) I wanted to take a look at some of my favorite shots of the brothers during their modeling days.  As their footwear line says, born in Paris, but made in Heaven.  I like that the brothers shot erotic, but not overly sexual visuals.  Although I obviously love sexual charged imagery, I'm not a fan of it from siblings or family memebers.

Who Dat?

Every year before July 1st, (Canada Day) I go on the hunt for images of hot guys and the Canadian flag.  This year, Instagram drew me to the shot below.  The images, appeared on the page of model Robyn Sinclair, and he wrote it was from his first shoot in Toronto back in 2000.

I love featuring male models who have been in the business awhile.  So many men, (and women) come in, make a few bucks, then quickly exit the industry.  It takes a certain drive, and courage, to remain in a business, and thrive, when so many are focused on the young, and the next 'big thing.'  Flipping through Robyn's port, I was struck by how many of his iconic images I remember seeing in ads and campaigns over the years.

I was also struck by how much work it must take to maintain the physique required for modeling over the last 25 plus years.  Robyn not only had older shots, but recent selfies proving he's worked hard to maintain his look.  I was also struck a certain set of cmnm images, (see further below)

Splash & Splay!

When you're single, almost any activity is a mating ritual.  When you're single and horny, the rituals get even more risky and daring.  Going to a nude beach alone, or even with friends, is the ultimate in speed dating.  Getting to see perspective partners completely naked has it's pros and cons.  Yes, you get to what's under the hood, but sometimes, a little bit of mystery can be a good thing....

One of my favorite nude beach positions is the classic splash and splay.  You don't necessarily need the splash first, but the added bonus of salt water glistening off your skin can add to the overall visual.... Now, depending on your comfort level, you can alter the angle and width of the splay.  Wider isn't necessarily always better, but it can increase how much attention you receive.

As in the animal kingdom, splaying, along with stretching and fanning our bodies is a big part of courtship.  Splaying behavior not only shows-off normally hidden body parts, but advertises strength and releases chemical scents to signal a readiness to get raunchy or to reproduce.  Splaying is a key part of sexual selection in the wild, and also most beaches.
