'From all angles, everyone can see his bubble butt. But from the audience right closer to the stage, I was able to get a glimpse of his balls as he was removing his pants. The long shirt he was wearing covered his cock but as he lifted his legsto remove his pants, you could see his balls.'
Although the quote above is about his body, it was a face shot of actor Sullivan Jones that first drew my attention. I saw the image on Twitter and though he had such an incredibly beautiful face. A quick search to find out more about him led me to some reviews of his turn in Broadway's Slave Play. The play's name turned me off, but in reading a bit more about it, I saw that there was much more beyond the productions title.
Described as a radical new play, writer Jeremy O. Harris, the therapy,(Slave Play) is a treatment for interracial couples who aren’t connecting sexually. Sex is often a barometer for deeper issues in each relationship and in Slave Play, directed by Robert O’Hara, is that it dares to show white moving through the world with an assumed neutrality that doesn’t actually exist
.'
Slave Play is a delightful send-up of the way well-to-do, overeducated white people discuss racism as though it has nothing to do with them personally.'
The Undefeated
After reading that Sullivan was nude in the play, I attempted to find some images. Although I sadly couldn't find any, I didn't come up completely empty handed. Jones did have a quick nude scene with Ewan McGregor in the first episode of Netflix's Halston.
HalstonHalston had been on my watch list, and Sullivan Jones had me bump it up and I began watching last weekend. I'm only two episodes in, but am enjoying it so far. Especially also loved the surprise of seeing the wonderful Kelly Bishop as Eleanor Lambert in the mini-series.
