Come for the underwear scene, stay for the movie....
For those who follow accounts focused on the male form, you know images of actor Jack Champion in his tighty whities were recently making the rounds. The images, are caps from this year's family drama, Everything's Going to be Great. When I Googled Jack, I forgotten he had also played Ethan in 2023's Scream VI.
I haven't really enjoyed a Scream film since the second one, but Scream VI was actually pretty good, the first three quarters anyway. It sort of unravels a bit in the last quarter, with the killer reveal being more silly than scary. Still, I Jack was great as Ethan, and more than crushable, especially with his sexy head of curly hair.
Just 20, Champion began acting professionally at the age of 10 and has racked up an impressive list of credits over the last decade. The Virginia born actor has also appeared in films including; Evil Kin, Head in the Clouds, The Night Sitter, Avengers: Endgame and Avatar: The Way of Water. I can't bring myself to watch The Way of Water, but Champion may have me give it a go, especially given Champion is appearing in future sequels in the franchise.
I did however, bring myself to find and stream Everything's Going To Be Great, and I'm really glad I did. I initially tuned to see Champion in his undies, but ended up really loving the film. The movie features the Smart family, led by parents played by Bryan Cranston and Allison Janney. The Smart's run a theatre, and their two sons, Derrick, (Champion) and Lester, (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) are forced into being part of many of the shows. Lester takes to it a bit more than older brother Derrick.
Derrick's storyline is a bit of a coming of age drama within the film and Champion is both talented and adorable in the role. If like me, you just wanted to check out the undies scene, be warned, it's only a few seconds long, but I encourage you to check out the entire film.
When I first saw the caps for the undies scene, I was ensure the person doing the capping used a little computer assistance. Now maybe they did in the film, the caps, and the visible bulge, are definitely in the scene in the film.
