Many FH viewers have followed Michael's visual adventures in previous posts featuring his work in studio and on location with Jay, (HERE:) in an Airbnb with Ethan Tate, (HERE:) and in the forest and at the beach with Noah White. (HERE:) With each of those shoots, Michael sent on so many incredible shots, narrowing down images was next to impossible and they all required a part two. I think this shoot may require even more than two parts, but for now, you can check out more of Seth in and out of the tree on the NEXT PAGE HERE:

A Succulent Balance: Seth Peterson by Michael von Redlich
' I speak for the trees, for the trees have no tongues.'
Dr. Suess
When featuring a shoot that I really love, one of the themes that I love to explore is balance. I don't mean balance as in visual symmetry or the composition of elements, I mean balance as in strength. Most of my favorite images, and some of the best shoots, involve a visual equilibrium between model and location.
We've all seen shoots where the model is swallowed up by their surroundings. Both in outside locations, and sometimes even in studio, an inexperienced model can easily be absorbed into the background. This can be particularly true when the location being used is exceptionally stunning.
It's not so much that model's beauty has to match their surroundings, although in this case, it does, it's more that they to have to meet the moment by utilizing and interacting with all that surrounds them. When I see a model posing with an incredibly majestic old tree, I don't want to see them simply standing in front of it, I want to see them touching it, feeling it, and becoming a part of it's world.
That's exactly what Seth Peterson does in this series of images from photographer Michael von Redlich. When Michael and Seth headed to Sycamore Creek in Arizona, Seth wanted to do more than just hit poses, he wanted to experience all that the National forest and desert had to offer.
When I first went through the hundreds of images from this shoot, I couldn't help but feel that Michael was capturing 'Seth's big adventure.' The images were filled with Seth running and jumping, climbing tree's and scaling large rocks and taking in all that the space had to offer. It was clear that Seth was more than a match for his surroundings, with Michael keeping pace with the energy, capturing each and every moment.
Many of you know Seth from his work in adult films since he burst onto the scene with his work with Helix Studios. Seth is a natural in front of the camera, both digital and film, and his beauty and talent have brought him a legion of admirers and fans. Michael first connected with Seth back in 2022 when he did a shoot with Seth and fellow performer Aiden Garcia.
'I had been talking to Seth for a while to coordinate things for a shoot but it wasn’t coming together until his then-boyfriend, Aiden, took the reins and pulled it all together.'
Michael also sent along images from that first shoot with both Seth and Aiden, but I wanted to start with this shoot, taken about a year later. Seth always looks hot, but I think he looks especially gorgeous with the longer hair. I love a guy with long bangs, and like he does with everything, Seth really works them well, adding a layer of sensuality, especially to those backward glances he shoots towards Michael's lens.
Michael is an maestro at capturing moments, and I can only imagine the energy it took to keep up with Seth as he explored the vast surroundings that make up Sycamore Creek. They shot in so many different locations in the area, I had to slow down myself, and focus on one location at a time. I decided to start with the leafless limbs and branches on the tree where Michael and Seth began their creative adventure.

BedRock: Seth Peterson by Michael von Redlich
'I love when a model inhabits spaces and I just follow and capture.'
Last month, in the first week of May, I featured photographer Michael von Redlich and his work with model and adult film star Seth Peterson. The resulting images were a breathtaking collection of visuals weaving Seth's beauty with the natural grandeur of Sycamore Creek, Arizona.
Now that we're in the first week of June, I wanted to return to the shoot, and the images I couldn't fit into the first piece. Although these shots are from Michael's second shoot with Seth, this was the first time Seth posed on his on. In the first shoot, Michael shot both Seth and his then boyfriend , fellow adult performer Aiden Garcia.
As he usually does, Michael sent on hundreds of images from each of his sessions with Seth. In addition to not wanting to pass up sharing all of my favorite captures, I also wanted to featured the many different areas, as well as the structural and geological components used during the shoot. In the first piece, I featured Seth up, in and then out of one of the locations tree's. I loved the statuesque look of the tree and how Seth interacted with it.
For this shoot, it all about the boulder bed that Seth lays, poses and artistically connects with. Now no one wants a mattress of rock, but Seth makes it appear like a welcoming and comfortable place to settle down and relax on. In addition to Seth's poses, you can almost feel the heat from the sun against both Seth's skin and surface the rock. Like the tree Seth posted on previously, you can also sense the history in the geological formations and changes they've undergone over the years.
What brought you to AZ to shoot Seth?
I have a dear friend who lives in Phoenix, and I had noted that there was a high concentration of adult actors in the Phoenix area, so I started reaching out and have been very fortunate with the responses.
What were the biggest differences between shooting Seth in a duo, and then alone?
When he is on his own, he is very charming, funny and more creative in his ideas. The very first shoot with his soon-to-be-ex was more tense, but I didn't know him well enough then, so I just thought it was him.
Was it hard to keep up, or was Seth following you?
We both stay in motion - I love when a model inhabits spaces and I just follow and capture.
Given he was totally naked in that environment, any cuts or scratches from the rocks or tree's?
No - Seth was very careful and I am sensitive to putting any model in dangerous situations.
Below: Even the cactus seems a wee stimulated about Seth's high kick and leg spread pose.

Down From The Tree: Seth Peterson by Michael von Redlich
'In addition to Seth being an amazing physical model to photograph, he has a very quiet peace about him.'
That 'quiet peace' that photographer Michael von Redlich describes is evident in all of the images Michael and Seth Peterson created together. Under the brilliant blue sky that illuminated the shoot,
Seth shows a respect for natural beauty around him, and even with touch and in movement, he mirrors the serenity of his surroundings.
'For the entire shoot at Sycamore Creek, Seth was open to new and different perspectives. He’s very collaborative and is absolutely a partner in the photo process. He’s also become a very good friend.'
Michael von Redlich
As you can see from this series, the majestic tree that Seth is posing with is more than just background, but a partner in focus. One of my favorite parts of the shoot was viewing the many ways Michael and Seth utilized the natural beauty of the tree and the many angles and views Michael captured.
As the saying goes however, what goes up, must come down and eventually Seth descended from the tree to pose in other areas within the Sycamore Creek locale. As stated, Michael sent on hundreds of images, with shots of Seth in the tree, making up only a small percentage of the entire shoot. Although I'm closing out, with a few shots of Seth on the ground, I'll share more soon in a future piece.
I couldn't do a post on Seth Peterson however, without at least a mention of his tattoos. I know fans of the adult actor and model, are well aware of the small arrow on Seth's chest, and the cute little turtle, on Seth's equally adorable butt. Seth shared how he chose these body art subjects, (below) in an interview he did with The Sword.
What is the meaning behind your arrow tattoo?
It was kinda just my first tattoo and I thought it would look good.
And the turtle on your bum?
I got that one after reading Stephen King’s “It” because it represents God. Later I realized it can also be viewed as a caution sign to go slow when I bottom.

Grounded: Seth Peterson by Michael von Redlich
You have seen Seth in a tree
You have seen Seth on a rock
But my favorite view of Seth to see
Is his sexy, naked desert walk
With apologies to Dr. Seuss, for this series of images, a playful rhyme, with a dash of anapestic tetrameter seemed entirely in order. This series is the coda, the final chapter in the trilogy of posts featuring photographer Michael von Redlich and his work with model and adult film star Seth Peterson.
This is certainly not the end of featuring Michael's work, nor his work with Seth. These images however, are the final shots from Michael's work with Seth, shot last year in Sycamore Creek in Arizona. I started the series in May, featuring mostly Michael's shots of Seth in a tree. (HERE:) I followed that up with a series of Seth posing on boulders and rocks. (HERE:)
For this piece, I thought it time to get a little more grounded. I almost didn't post this series, as they didn't fit into the two previous themes. I couldn't not use them however, as I think this series is one of my favorites. Michael's shots of Seth in the tree, and on the rocks were exceptionally beautiful and visually stunning, but there was something about this series I found both playful, and incredibly hot.
When it comes to attraction, there are so many factors come into play. The physical characteristics of course, a handsome face, beautiful eyes, a great body. There's personality, intellect, kindness and humor. But as most of have experienced, at one time or another, there's also something incredibly hot about a great walk.
Who hasn't seen a guy who initially, doesn't tick any of our attraction boxes. Then, we see them walk, maybe towards us, maybe away, and our ambivalence, turns surprisingly to lust. Not that I was ambivalent about Seth, I've crushed over him for awhile now. His work with Michael however, is some of his best, and I don't think he's ever looked hotter than as seen through Michael's eyes and lens.
'I enjoy all my collaborations with Seth. He's such an amazing model and has a great sense of himself. He's also very charming, funny and creative in his ideas.'
For some, this series of shots could have been outtakes, or behind the scenes shots. I know some are similar, and there were many more. Flipping through them though, they seemed more like a movie than a series of images. Like those old View-Masters, that you flip quickly to simulate movement.
I was most intrigued with the environmental and locational exploration with this series. If I were dropped into the Sycamore Creek desert, I'd want to check out the area, run around, jump on rocks and explore my surroundings. The fact that Seth is doing all of that that completely naked, only adds to the erotic appeal and visual enjoyment.
