A Pair of Pullmans

There was always something incredibly hot about  Bill Pullman.  A sexy, goofy charm he exuded, like his turn in 1993's Sleepless in Seattle.  Although Daddy Pullman has had many starring roles, and been a part of many huge blockbusters, including 1996's Independence Day, he's never taken off as a huge star or leading man.  Pullman is clearly talented, and always delivers, and has been a part of  so many of my favorite films.

I wasn't aware that Bill had an equally adorable son in the business until seeing the press for 2022's Top Gun Maverick.  Even before I saw the film, I saw Pullman and the male cast in magazines like Vanity Fair promoting the movie.

To be honest, I didn't really watch Top Gun Maverick, I had it on one night, but only half watched.  Despite enjoying the original, I wasn't really drawn into the sequel.   The first time I really noticed Pullman as an actor was in this year's Remarkably Bright Creatures. I wasn't going to watch, but was really glad I invested.

It was great to see Sally Field with a great role again. (after that grown worthy 80 or Brady)  Field and Pullman had wonderful chemistry and although the plot was predictable, and more than a little Hallmark coded, it's characters and climax still had me choking up near the end.

Lessons in Chemistry

Both of the Pullman pair have done a bit of on-screen nudity, Lewis in Lessons in Chemistry and The Testament of Ann Lee.  Dad has also done a few nude scenes, most notably, a wee tip of peen in 1998's Spy Games
