Favorite Pic of the Day for June 25th

Hey All, I am away til Sunday, back to normal posting then.
In the meantime though I am thrilled to share this shot of one of my favorite hunks, actor and model Chris S. This hot shot was taken by a man whose work I closely follow, the talented Fitness/Fashion photographer Richard Gerst. This shot of Chris is a salute to the work of Rick Day as I am sure many can see through the many added touches.

I found myself on the other end of a post this week with a request by fangirl for an interview. In celebration of LGBT Pride Month fangirl has been interviewing several bloggers on her site. I for some reason was surprisingly not comfortable being on the other side of the questions...lol... Must be a control thing. Anyway if you want to learn just a wee bit more about me and FH you can read the interview HERE:

Favorite Pic of the Day for June 24th

Alexander Kushneir by Patrick Mark.

Still an Angel

With all the hoopla over Michael Jackson I want to mention the passing of Farrah Fawcett on the 25th of last year.
I know Michael has legions of fans and I do love some of his music I was never a die hard fan. I was a bit too young to get into the Thriller phenomenon and I always could never get beyond seeing Michael as a tormented man with serious issues.

Farrah on the other hand I had a moment with. A brief moment about 10 years ago.

When I saw her at a distance she was all hair and grin. When I was actually in front of her talking she was all smiles and giggles. I had to bring her something and once I gave it to her she called me 'sweetie', giggled a bit more and turned and literally danced away. Yeah I know, not a big moment, but one that stood out to me. So full of life during the 2 minutes we shared together. Seeing her slowly die, seeing the life slip away over the next decade was hard to watch. Rest In Peace beautiful Angel!
