'I honestly think that photos of me with my clothes off are better than ones with my clothes on.'
Before
FH got taken over with the Red & White, and the Red, White & Blue, the hottest colors were definitely blue and pink. Two weeks ago, before getting all patriotic with the birthday's of Canada and the US, I celebrated model
Marco Polo and his skimpy, and incredibly hot pink and blue '
Eat This Cake' thong undies. (
HERE:)
The original plan, was to post my favorite shots, I got sidelined however, with all the sexy shots of Marco in his thong. I'm now back on track, and am posting some of my favorite shots of Marco from his Instagram and Twitter. I also threw Marco some questions and had to start by asking about the thong that thong, th-thong, thong, thong....
Tell me about the thong undies and how the shoot come about?
I unfortunately have never been gifted any underwear! Wish I had. By all means send me things people! lol I was on holiday with my husband, and I sort of had the idea of removing it, as it's got the strings on either side so it seemed relatively obvious.
My husband and I have invested a lot of time in upskilling him in taking photos I won't immediately tell him are horrendous. So if you saw the whole camera roll series it could essentially play like a video. I got into the jacuzzi, pulled a few poses, and my husband let me know when he thought he'd got certain things and to move on to the next thing. Or he'd say that I'd moved too fast and to go back to something I'd just done. Quite organic. He did end up getting quite excited by the display, I have to say! Which is always flattering, and a validating thing when sexy is what you're aiming for.
What inspired you to begin modeling?
I actually fell into modelling quite accidentally. I didn’t have a plan to do it and I very much wouldn’t consider myself to be a model. It’s just something that I do with my free time that I enjoy. Basically somebody messaged me on my regular Instagram profile and asked me to do a nude photoshoot.
My dad had recently died so I was very much in a “well you only live once” mindset so went for it. I’d been a naturist for a while already so was relatively comfortable being naked. I hadn’t really been nude outdoors too much by that stage but it’s always nice to have a semi-acceptable excuse for public nudity.
In terms of why I’ve continued doing it, I’ve always resented the implication that one can only be sexy if they have washboard abs or fit a very specific standard. Growing up my parents made me feel as if the worst thing somebody could be was fat and my mum would frequently comment on my portion size or my appearance so it was sort of about reclaiming my own sexuality and from the point of view of body positivity and self love.
Was nude modeling always part of the plan or did that come later?
I honestly think that photos of me with my clothes off are better than ones with my clothes on. I find this is supported by the amount of likes I get when my nipples are out compared to when they’re covered, but I try not to take it or myself too seriously.
Tell me about your first nude shoot, how nervous were you?
A healthy amount of nervous. As a teenager I was reasonably self conscious and quite a few formative experiences I had reinforced that view. I wasn’t particularly worried about the nude aspect strangely - I always tend to get more stressed about what my face was doing.
Actually doing the photoshoot I was mainly concerned with the temperature because it was April and I was naked outside in a relatively public location and the photographer wasn’t especially aware that, if he were wrapped up in a coat, that I was genuinely shivering. It was a fun experience though and it helped other photographers to get in contact with me and now I’ve done almost 30 of them.
Was it as bad, or nerve racking as you thought?
It was genuinely absolutely fine. Really comfortable, apart from the cold.
Have you had any negative experiences modeling?
I have had some photographers who you get an odd vibe from. I've learned to be more clear on my boundaries and ensure photoshoots have a professional atmosphere, and that I ask around other models who have worked with people before shooting. Oh the situations I have evaded!
Any concepts photographers suggest you decide are not for you?
That hasn't happened to me as yet, no. Sometimes they suggest things which I decide are beyond my boundaries, like shooting erect or stuff like that. I tend to go for innocent or natural nudity instead of explicitly playing with oneself. I have engaged in that content a few times, as it's nice to have that sort of content to keep privately, though.
It very much depends on how comfortable I feel with the photographer. Some are very good at putting you at ease and being collaborative. Some have a very set idea of what they want and I find that challenging as I feel like I could be anybody, while when collaborating I feel like an active part of what is being created.
What has been your favorite experience so far?
Oh gosh I couldn't possibly pick! It's like picking favourites. I loved shooting with Oli Raptor, he's a really relaxed presence and a great photographer. My shoot with Andrew Bowman Photography was also fantastic. Graham Martin too. AdStudioPrive...JoKerr Art...London Male Images...Jack Saul...Maurice Farrell...JC Candedo...Rural Bodies - oh that reminds me, I should probably arrange some summer shoots with that wonderful bunch!
What is your favorite thing about modeling nude?
The sense of confidence that it brings to me. We are only guaranteed one life, and I've wasted enough of it not liking myself.
What's the most memorable response a viewer has shared with you?
This is a tricky one because memorable is quite subjective and isn't necessarily positive or negative. I love speaking to people who are learning to love themselves and embrace their bodies and quite a few have said some quite lovely things about finding my profile inspiring.
Then there are those who will demand uncensored shots from me or just send erect pics with us barely having spoken. And that's the weird thing about the internet, because people behave in ways that they wouldn't in real life - and I'm sure I'm probably guilty of that on occasion myself. Sharing parts of oneself online gives people a false idea of knowing you so I think some people assume I'm this hyper sexual being and I'd just love to see their penis! And I can understand from my page where that idea may come from...but please ask first! 😂
