Have you ever wondered what monsters do after a night of mass murder, general mayhem and blood bathing? I have. So I asked my werewolf how he uses his alone time after a long, hard, bloody night of slaughter, chaos and terrorizing.....

Richard Rothstein: A Werewolf in Manhattan
Once home, he loves a good hot shower, not just to wash the blood off his hide but to relax and meditate. “The transformation takes a lot of you,” he explains “so my mornings are all about showering, a good stiff drink (he prefers a good single malt Scotch,) a really good wank and then curling up with one of my favorite books.
He has tried Bitemarks, Grindr for wolves, for a little company, but frankly Wolfie knows he's not the best looking dude in the zoo and it’s hard to get guys to come over. Also, most Bitemark dates don’t appreciate ending up as breakfast. Fangs gotta do what fangs gotta do.
So it’s mostly about then pleasuring himself. He often pushes Richard off the computer to search for videos for his favorite porn star, Legrand Wolf, which kills a little bit of time.. After that, it’s all about alone time.
His favorite reads are, not surprisingly, Grimm Brothers, Into The Woods, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Silence of the Lambs and basically anything with little girls in red capes, little pigs and grandmothers.” If your curious to know what, (or who) a werewolf thinks about when he’s choking the chicken. Tyler Posey, of course.
So even though Richard's new 'pet' spends his night out blood shedding, during the day, he's home and under foot. This of course means hiding Teddy in the bedroom, and ensuring there's plenty to eat, plenty to drink, and plenty of stimulus for his wanking whims.
Constant wanking can be a problem, especially since Wolfie prefers to want outside on the deck. This has led to dozens of complaints to the co-op board from Richard's neighbours. It's also costly to ensure there's enough meat and alcohol on hand as Wolfie gets angry when Richard tries to pass off the cheap stuff .
Wolfie also has an incredibly bad habit of needing to put his penis on every piece of furniture he's in front of. This also adds to Richard's grocery bill by having to buy pledge, Windex and Clorox Bleach by the caseload.
Still, Richard loves his little Wolfie, and at the end of the day, Wolfie usually curls up for a short nap, and a little scratch behind the ears. Then, like every other night, as the sun sets, Wolfie heads out for a bloody night of carnage. Although Richard is well aware of what the next day holds, he and Teddy enjoy their night wolfless. In addition to cleaning up the days mess, they spend their time preparing for the morning's blood bath, drinking and habitual wanking.
L'escalier vers l'enfer
'There's some stupid killer stalking some big-breasted girl who can't act who is always running up the stairs when she should be running out the front door. It's insulting.'
With Halloween under 10 days away, it's time to begin FH's October Halloween and horror themed posts. If you haven't guessed already, I'm beginning with one of the season's, and the movies, classic horror themed tropes, the spook staircase. Scream 'final girl' Sidney Prescott was right about characters stupidly running up the stairs, but it's not just big-breasted girls. Horror's hot himbos often make the same mistake, not to mention their pesky need to have sex one last time before being stabbed, gutted or dismembered.
Today's theme was inspired by the many horror movies I've seen with spooking staircases, and both their actual, and sometimes subliminal meaning in the story. Staircases often represent a journey, one with the ups and downs of life. A jou4n3y where ascending can symbolize a positive or upward movement (like achieving goals or knowledge) and descending can signify a more negative or conflict, Freud thought staircases represented a sexual journey, and there's also the sexual connections with reaching the top, or hitting the bottom.
Today's posts were inspired by many artists, models and movies, initially with photographer Bob Burkhardt and his staircase shoot with Victor. I was also inspired by model Harry Caudill. Although Harry's hotness is always inspirational, especially in these images through the lens of TR Pics. It wasn't an image of Harry that had me reaching out to him however, but the short scary staircase Halloween video he posted on his Instagram. (Below)
Over the next two pages you'll see many hot men, going up, and coming down flights of stairs. If you head on over to PAGE 2 HERE:, you'll also see some of my favorite staircase themed posts from the past, as well as a tribute to one of my favorite storytellers and staircase shooters who sadly just recently took his painful last steps.
Descending and ASScending: Victor by Bob Burkhardt
'What an excellent day for an exorcism.'
The Demon
One of the touchtone tropes of spooky staircases, especially in horror films, is their function as a portal to either Heaven or Hell. To reach Heaven, you must ascend, going to Hell, means a terrifying decention. Goodness rises, evil falls. There are so many horrifying moments in film which include a flight of stairs. One in particular came to mind when I saw this series from photographer Bob Burkhardt.
Last month, I featured images from the second shoot between bob and the incredibly hot, and clearly incredibly limber Victor. (HERE:) When I was going through the images Bob sent on, I put these aside knowing they'd be perfect for the spooky season. Now, I'm pretty sure that neither Bob nor Victor planned this series as either horror, or Halloween themed. They're creative goals more about pose, and showing off one of Victor's most magnificent body parts.
'The climbing up the stairs was my idea and the climbing down was Victor's. He really wanted to feature his butt in the last session and I was happy to comply. The climbing down shots were not easy for Victor given the physicality of the pose. I was especially happy with the descending shots.'
'The stairs idea came about when I came across these shots by photographer Erick Monterrosa. I loved the unique posing of the model against the environment - they were very seductive and I especially liked the view that draws attention to the backside. Bob was very receptive to trying the idea too. Although we weren't quite able to recreate it to a tee because the layout and stairs were different, it was still a fun experimentation.'
As heavenly as Victor looks sitting on the stairs, and as enticing as he and his butt look climbing up them, I was having more demonic thoughts when I saw the series. The images, especially the last two below, with Victor descending the steps on his hands reminded me of a terrifying scene from 1973's The Exorcist.
I love 1970's horror, and when I first saw this movie, I was just a kid, watching it on television at a friend's house. I remember my friend's mother laughing at how scared we were, and that the viewing sparks at least a month's worth of nightmares. If anyone remembers the 'stair' scene, it featured a possessed Regan descending a staircase with a demonic spider walk with her head upside down. (you can watch the scene on Youtube HERE:)
The images below of Victor's 'spider walk' are certainly more seductive than sinister. Victor's unique poses however, and angles Bob captured, certainly conjured for me, so many scenes of demons and monsters descending a spooky staircase, one specific iconic scene in particular.
Horror Hunks: There's Nothing Out There
A horror film of comic proportions...
There are countless horror flicks with iconic staircases, and this film would certainly not be on the list. The film, nor the staircase, are particularly iconic, both do have their charms. First off, I love a horror film that doesn't take itself that seriously, and with the killer in this flick being a giant mutant frog, that would be a difficult task.
In the 1991 horror comedy There's Nothing Out There, a horror film buff tries to warn his friends that spending spring break in a house in the woods of would be dangerous. They of course scoff at him and go anyway. Of course things start to change after a huge mutant frog starts to pick them up one by one.
In addition to loving horror flicks from the 70's, 80's and 90's, there were a few other reasons to pick this film for today's staircase theme. First off, there are three scenes featuring male skin. The first is a shot of actor Robb DelGuidice. DelGuidice plays a punk rocker who strips down to his jock strap for a quick flash of his butt in a swimming scene.
The second skin baring scene features actor Mark Collver, who strips down to well, nothing, for a late night skinning dipping scene with his girlfriend. DelGuidice had a short career, with two roles in the 1990's, and one last credit for 2003. This flick marked Collver's first professional role, and he continued to worked periodically throughout the 1990's and 2000's.
The third scene of male skin features actor John Carhart III and is the scene connected to the staircase. In addition to a quick flash of his hairy butt crack, Carhart's character Nick remains in tighty whities after the mutant frog attacks on the stairs to the basement. The cutie got his first big screen film role as a dancer in 1988's Hairspray, followed by his role in There's Nothing Out There. Carhart is still a working actor, and has mostly appeared on television and in short films including an appearance in a short just last year.
Nothing like a hot guy in tighty whities while everyone else is dressed!
