Christmas Countdown: Bryce by Alex Hilbert
It's that time of year that FH breaks out holiday themed images from some of my favorite photographers of the male form. First up is beautiful Bryce shot by California fashion and fitness photographer Alex Hilbert.
I fell in love with Alex's work after first discovering his portfolio this past spring. Alex has an incredible eye for talent, and always manages to bring out something beautifully unique in the models he captures.
Bryce has the most beautiful eyes and skin and looks fetchingly festive in his Santa hat and Rudolph undies. From his beautiful face, down to his sexy body and 'red nose,' I think most of us would like to come down stairs on December 25th to find this sexy Santa hanging out by the fireplace mantle.

Blast from the Past: Totally Rad!
A couple of years ago, I did a Blast from the Past post, asking FH readers for suggestions of actors, singers and performers to feature in the series. The Internet is immensely fascinated with who's 'hot at the moment', but one of my goals with FH, was to also spotlight talented and beautiful men who were important parts in the history of our lives.
A FH reader wrote in with a couple of suggestions, none of whom I really had memories of. Although a little googling told me who they were, some were before my time. I find it difficult sometimes to write about actors whom I don't actually have a connection with. I oddly need to have seen a movie or project that touched me to want to write and research their images and career.
At the top of the site readers list was actor Rad Daly. Rad rose to fame in the 70's, and worked steadily on television and film in the 80's. Roles became scarce after that, with a small role in Crimson Tide his only IMDB credit for the 90's. In the last couple of years, Rad appears to be working a bit more, and has a few projects coming out in the next year. I remember Rad a bit from teen magazines in the late 80's, but wasn't sure I had actually seen any of his work, until last week.
One of my many movie channels was playing '10' a few months ago, and I DVR'd it since the movie is so well known and I had not seen it before. 1979's 10 put Bo Derek on the map and although I had certainly had heard of the movie, knew it mostly from images of Bo Derek running along the beach. I had time to watch it on the weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Dudley Moore and Julie Andrews put in great performances, and Bo, and her beach running, were not as big a part of the movie as I had thought. In addition, we got a few scenes of the incredibly hot Sam Jones as Bo's husband.
The movie also included a few scenes featuring a cute kid playing Julie Andrews son. I remembered that face from a my searches on Rad after the blog reader had asked me to feature him. Now... with an actual movie and role that I had watched, I was inspired to to go back to the blog readers suggestion. Rad was, and is a hottie, and was quite good in his supporting role in 10. I will have to check out his other work, as there are a few old TV shows on his resume, I have always wanted to check out.

It's his use of the lens, light, experience and passion which massages his images to an unexpected portrayal.'
Water...
From the waves of the Atlantic ocean, to the glistening surface of the the swimming pool.
From the soapy bathtub, to the heat and pulse rushing from the shower head.
To the drops of sweat dripping across your neck, back and slowly down your butt crack.
The moist and sensual feel as water moves over a hot, sexy and acutely ready body.
Today, with Twitter, tumblr and hundreds of other sites, images of naked bodies abound. For many, this is a great thing, having an endless supply of penis pictures to enjoy. The downside however is the lack of creativity and quality that comes with an overabundance of orgasmic stimulation. With so many images, the bodies cease to be actual men, and the human piece man becomes secondary to girth, length and level of erection.
One of the reasons I annoyingly add so many words around the images I feature is to ensure the hu is always connected to man. That the models have names and that the images were created through the hard work and passion of the artists and photographers who created them. When I first started searching the net for images of the male form, there were a few sites, and a few artists whose work brought me back to their images again and again.
Artists who didn't just photograph butts and penises, but models, with names and personalities. I remember frequently going back to a site I know many of you have gone to in the past. VistaVideo was the place I first discovered the work of New York photographer and artist Hans Fahrmeyer. Hans and his images on Vista introduced many of us to many models, the most well known being Marcel and Phil Fusco.
Hans' images were bold, colorful and unabashedly sexual. The images were intended to evoke desire, and Marcel, Phil, and so many of the models Hans shot openly welcomed the viewers desire. This may sound simple, but it surprising how many photographers and models I have contacted about FH are uncomfortable with viewers lusting after an image or a specific model. There are many photographers who though all of their work is of naked men, want to discuss the images ad if they shot a tulip or a kitten.
Hans Fahrmeyer is not one of those photographers. His images drip with desire, creativity, color and passion. Hans has introduced me to so many models and images that have continued my own passion for the male form in art. In addition to Marcel and Phil, Hans's work has sparked my following the careers of Nick Ayler, Santiago Peralta, Nick Pizzaro, Eddy, Roman and Phat Daddy. Models and images that spark a desire to not only see, but learn more about the man in front of, and behind the lens. This desire to me, is the nucleus for my love of great imagery. All of these features, and all of the models mentioned are a part of Hans new work Water Moves, A collection of hundreds of image and close to 160 pages dripping with unabashed desire.
