Favorite Pic of the Day for December 15th

Lately I have found myself intrigued with the use of windows within shoots. There were a few photographs I posted recently where the specific use of a window turned a good photo into a great one. There are so many things about a window, natural light of course, reflection, seeing out, seeing in, covered and protected, yet completely seen.

There is also something about the thought process one has when staring out a window. One is usually looking at something, or for something. I know for myself when I sit down (usually with a cup of coffee) in front of my living room window, it is either to watch some form of weather, or...more likely it is because something is on my mind and if I have any hope of solving or dealing with it, time in front of that glass is usually the beginning of the process.

Incredible shot by the wonderful and generous Michael Puff.

FH Readers:
Been fighting (and losing) my battle with the flu the past few days so posting has been down, hope to be back to normal soon.

Keep an eye for Model Search 2011 voting to resume later tonight!
