Reluctantly I sat down to watch Evening this week. It is a 'chick flick' without a doubt (although I hate that term) and I usually do not like movies such as this, too sappy. I loved Evening. I love Vanessa Redgrave, I love Toni Collette, I love Patrick Wilson and they all shined in this tale that never got too sappy. Stand out performances also from Hugh Dancy, Glen Close, Clare Danes and Mamie Gummer. With Meryl Streep, Eileen Atkins, Natasha Richardson and Barry Bostwick rounding out the cast, I would reccomend this movie highly. You also get a brief scene of Hugh kissing Patrick Wilson.
Below is a little tribute to Evening guys Patrick Wilson and Hugh Dancy.

EVENING STAR: PATRICK WILSON
Patrick Wilson is an amazing actor on both stage and screen. I grew to love him in Angels in America, but also in Little Children which was one of my favorite moves of a couple of years ago.

Popular only had 2 seasons, and although season 2 was a bit hit and miss, season 1 is a comic masterpiece. Also featured great performances by Sara Rue, Bryce Johnson, Leslie Bibb, Tammy Michaels and Carley Pope. Wish we had another season or 2!
Christopher currently co-stars on Ugly Betty.
Other Christopher Projects include:

Favorite Classic Television Star: Oct 19th Laurette Spang
Laurette Spang is best known for playing the socialator, Cassiopia romancing Starbuck (Dirk Benedict) in the sci fi show from the late 70's Battlestar Galactica. Call me crazy but I prefered Battlestar over Star Wars as a kid (although that changed since growing into an adult). One of the reasons might be my childhood crush on Laurette Spang. When I was about 10, our local television station used to play Battlestar repeats, long after ABC cancelled the series, on Sunday mornings. Laurette has not acted much lately, but was a fixture on network tv in the late 70's and early 80's showing up in the usual places like Charlie's Angels and the Love Boat. Laurette married John McCook (the Bold and the Beautiful) and has raised their three children. Recently it looks like Laurette might be returning to acting.
