Seasonal Sightings:

Twisty...🤡

I'm guessing some of you know they two hot actors, and the horror film they both appeared in last year.  I just saw it however, and was surprised by the twinkish twist.  If you didn't see the film, and want to know more, head on over part two on FH HERE:

A Convening of the Council: Tony

Magic is desire made real

Every Halloween I try to feature new and original visuals and characters.  Usually however, my wanton wishes turn to witches.  Not traditional old hags with warts on their noses, but hot young male witches with sex drives as powerful as their magical muscle.  This year, a potent pack formed to conjure a witch to join the FH coven.   If you've check out my previous witch tales, you know this year witch, will be the 10th member of the coven.

This year, it's a council of wizards convening to choose the new member.  If you follow wizard folklore and literature you know that traditional fantasy wizards usually work alone in isolated towers.  Wizards are very territorial, and usually on come together for high-stakes councils when either facing a shared threat, or when a crucial decision must be made.

So why was it so important for these manly magicians come together?  Good question.  There are major differences between the two types of spellcasters and it comes down to power...  The source of a wizard's power usually comes from academic study, reading ancient texts and mastering formulaic spells.  Witches get their power from nature, earth-oriented and drawn from external pacts and natural surroundings. Witches draw strength from the environment, seasonal cycles, herbal lore, and personal or ancestral energy.

Wizards are also historically male, where are witches are generally thought of of female.  Although men can certainly practice witchcraft, it's still not as universally supported and accepted.  One of the wizards on the counsel however, wants to buck this trend.  He's ready to burst out of his supernatural closet, grab a broom and join the other male witches in the coven.

Which wizard will be?  Which witch is looking to transition?  Which council member's desire is to drop their wizard cape and put on a pointy hat?   Over the next week, thanks to the official photographer of the paranormal, TR Pics, will introduce FH readers to the 7 wizards convening to conjure up the season of the witch.

The first up from the sorcerous seven is Tony. Tony is a gamer, and tired of sitting alone in his tower playing with himself.  He longs to be part of a coven and play with the joysticks of the other male members.  Tony is also an Alpha, and hates being the bottom with the strong willed wizards.  He wants to start flesh, with a new band of brothers.   Check out the second candidate, another Witch wannabe on FH HERE:

Brenton Parry: The Process Piece

'It’s a very different beast doing explicit work but I’ve been surprised how many exhibitionists there are.'

Readers of FH, and those passionate about visuals of the male form are no doubt familiar with photographer Brenton Parry.  I was first introduced to Brenton's work, and his former site Aussielicous, but in the late 2000's.  There were many sites back then I loved, but only three that I used to check into daily. Brenton's was one of them.  Those three sites, their visuals, and especially their commentary, motivated me to begin Favorite Hunks.

I wanted a site that not only posted great visuals, but told a bit of the story behind them.  More than just faceless artists and nameless models, I wanted to get to know the artists and models behind the images that I loved and  then right-clicked and saved.  As a writer, I wanted a 'story' based site as I was always curious about how a shoot came together, the inspirations, and the thoughts and feelings of the creators and models.  Sadly, all of those sites are now gone.

In addition to his commentary, I loved that Brenton shared so much of himself on his site.  Not only his thoughts on current events and issues related to the male form, but also images of himself.  At one time Brenton was an lifeguard, and I remember it was on his site I first saw images of hot Aussie lifeguards in their butt revealing speedos.  In addition to just showcasing hot male models, frequently Brenton also shared nudes of himself,

Aussilicious may be gone, but Brenton didn't go anywhere. Brenton's focus turned to his own passion for photography of the male form, and has been shooting steadily since, producing images, photosets and videos for some of Australia's hottest male models and sports figures.  Recently, when visiting Brenton's Twitter Page, I really took notice of how many behind the scenes visuals and videos Brenton was sharing.  Most were teasers, promoting the longer and complete shoots and videos on his OnlyFans.

Those teasers also sparked an idea.  Like most artists, Brenton is a storyteller, and although not he's not writing his thoughts and stories any longer, they're still beautifully there in his behind the scenes videos.  I asked Brenton about taking a deeper dive behind the scenes, to talk about his work, and the changing landscape of photography, especially with his focus on the male form.  As you can see, Brenton not only shared many great images and videos, he also shared his thoughts and experiences shooting over the last twenty plus years.

When did you first know you had a passion for the male form?
In hindsight, from my early teens but I didn’t work out the attraction part of it until after I came out to myself at 25. It used to be something I just put down to guys having bodies that I aspired to having myself.

You were an Aussie lifeguard, were you often photographed by tourists and beachgoers?
Not often really? Only the occasional photo. It was before iPhones and the era of the selfie. I could be in a few holiday albums though.

Any memorable stories that spring to mind from your time as a lifeguard?
It was around the time I started to acknowledge my sexuality so communal showers in the surf club was an interesting experience. I was rowing surf boats which was both thrilling and terrifying but it also kept me very fit. I loved it.

Do you miss your site Aussielicous?
Not really. Every now and then I think I miss having a platform to share thoughts and feelings but it had run it’s course and was becoming a bit of a gilded cage for me. Now when I want to share something I think to myself “Why?”

You posted nudes of yourself on the site, which came first, modeling nude or shooting nudes?
Definitely photographing nudes came first. I was already going to nude beaches so being nude was part of my life. I didn’t really do many nude shoots for other photographers for a while. It’s fun though and as someone with a tortured relationship with their own body, it’s fun to see how other people see me and let go of how I see myself.

Do you remember your first time shooting a model naked?
It was 2004 and was a guy I’d met through gaydar. Looking back at the photos there are some technical issues and it was when I had an old film camera. We only took two rolls of film but there are fond memories attached to those shots and I don’t think we did a bad job considering neither of us knew what we were doing.

You've shot brand new models and well known sports figures, is, is there a difference?
Absolutely. People like Matthew Mitcham have done professional shoots and are used to being in front of a camera. They are also used to pushing through discomfort. A first time model can at times look petrified but I pride myself on creating a safe, relaxed and fun environment for models and they eventually relax.

You may have noticed that most of the images in the piece are studio shots.  I couldn't spotlight the Australian photographer's work without including including some beach shots.  Check out more behind the scenes images and videos, and more of my interview with Brenton on the NEXT PAGE HERE:
