End of the Reign: Kings by Studio1x

'The goal with Kings' shoot was more to get him many different looks. Since he's also a photographer, it was also to get him u sed to being on the other side of the camera. We did many looks and had a great afternoon working together.'

He had a great run, but it's time for this King, Kinky Kings, to step off the throne.  FH viewers were first introduced to this sexy sovereign back in 2021.  Jim from Studio1x shot Kings, and the equally divine Dom, for a sexy movie scene to help celebrate the Academy Awards. (HERE:)  In the scene, (shoot) Kings and Don had a playful pillow fight, that had them both hot and sweaty.  Of course a shower was needed after all that wresting an roughhousing. 

After that post, it was all hail to the Kings, and I, and FH viewers wanted to see more of the mouthwatering monarch.  As the official royal photographer, Jim graciously sent on more of his work with Kings, and unlike the real royal family, no editing or photoshop was required for this Kings to look ravishingly regal. 

Given that Jim and Kings shot so many themes, and so many different looks, it was easy to create more posts, with Kings dressed, and undressed, in a variety of different colors and fashions.  He donned, then stripped out of winter sweaters, overalls, and white and wet t-shirts.  I think my favorite look, might have been Kings wearing nothing but a blue baseball cap, and a leather tool belt.

Since this is the last post featuring Kings, it makes sense that he'd end his royal duties with last day on the throne.  In this case, the throne is a Kinky couch, that King's certainly seems to enjoy spending time on.  Thanks to Kings, and to Jim, for taking such good care of us over the course of your reign!

Earlier this year, I featured images from Kings first nude shoot with photographer Jim from Studio1x.  I was amazed how comfortable Kings was in front of the camera, especially given it was his first time shooting.  As a photographer himself, Kings certainly had knowledge and experience with the shooting process.  

As a first time model however, I was struck by his natural ability with movement and pose and especially his ability to sensually exude so intensely in front of the lens.  With Jim's direction, Kings seemed to instinctively know how to best align his incredible lines and sensuous curves.

In the previous piece, (Studio Sessions) I focused on how much I love Jim's studio work.  One of his goals, especially with a first shoot, is to capture as many looks and moods as possible. Jim's camera is always clicking,  capturing hundreds of images in each shoot.  I'm always amazed how almost each and every one is portfolio ready and worthy of spotlighting and sharing.

I always love a slow strip, and one of my favorite sequences from this shoot was Kings ripping off his wet t-shirt.  There were dozens of shots from this series and it was difficult to choose and narrow down the ones to use.

Some of you may have noticed the layer of water drops glazed in front of Kings beautiful body. This series was shot completely behind a plate of clear glass creating the effect.  Once the t-shirt was ripped off, and Kings was unencumbered by the wet cotton clinging to his body, Jim continued capturing even more of Kings lines and curves.  Check more on the NEXT PAGE HERE:

Winter Wear: Kings by Studio1x

'The more layers you put on, the more layers you can strip off.'

So many of us these days are wearing layers. We start with our socks, one, maybe two pairs. Next it's undies, then our long johns or sweat pants.  They're then covered with our regular pair of chords, jeans or dress pants.  Then it's time to tuck in our undershirt, followed by a t-shirt, then we pull on, then button up our dress shirt.  

That's just inside, when we have, or dare to go out, there's an entire additional layer or two that must be added.  We icing the cake with a togue, ear muffs a scarf and our gloves.   All to walk the 12 feet to then scrape off, and warm up our car.  I love winter days, but I don't love the layering.  Most people who deal with winter weather know you can handle the cold with less layers, but if it's both cold and windy, the sub-zero temperatures gush right through.

Ever since being introduced to model Kings from Jim from Studio1x, I've enjoyed discovering, and sharing new shoots and themes they've created together.  Although Jim's focus is the nude male form, there's always been a piece of fashion that's provided the focus for each shoot.   If you've seen my previous posts featuring Jim's shoots of Kings, (HERE:)  you know I've themed my posts around the wardrobe he strips off.  His blue sweater, his wet t-shirt, his overalls and his incredibly hot, low hanging tool belt. 

I love when fashion is woven artistically into a shoot, and Jim always does a magnificent job of beautifully utilizing, but not relying on the fashion pieces included.  Jim knows the destination is naked, but getting there, can be half of the fun.  The strip sets a sensual tone, one that if skillfully captured, has you scrolling more slowly, not more quickly, to get to the bottom. 

For this hot reveal, Kings peels of the plaid and his sweat pants, two of the layers of his wardrobe for winter.  Of course no matter what you're doing in the winter, if it's freezing outside, the socks stay on.  Whether you're just chilling, working out, or even having sex, those socks remain tightly in place.  They only come off to shower or bath, and then a fresh pair is quickly slid back on.

These shots were taken when live Jim was living and shooing in the North West, not that's moved South, there are far few layers required. Although there have been a few nights, it dipped close to the freezing mark, but still not layer weather.  That sadly means there are fewer models like Kings, arriving at the studio with multiple layers of clothing, that must be slowly and sensually pulled off.  

'Kings has a great sense of humor and matched mine so there were many laughs.  I always enjoy working with models that are very comfortable being nude and free with trying different artistic looks.'

Studio Sessions: Kings by Studio1x

'For studio shoots, I try to capture as many looks as possible.  I also try to focus on light, and how it plays off the model's body.'

It was back in 2017 that photographer Daniel Allen suggested I check out the work of of Jim from Studio1x.  Daniel sent on Jim's Instagram page and quickly visually devoured his impressive portfolio.  Although I should have guessed his focus from his credit, but one of the things I loved most about Jim's work was his exceptional skill with studio sessions. 

Yes, most photographers work primarily in studio, but Jim I was really drawn to the way Jim utilized the space.  The first piece I did spotlighting Jim's imagery featured his work with Robbie. (HERE:) As soon as I opened the folder of images, I fell in love with his process and how complete his studio sessions were.

Many photographers send me on 'final' shots.  A dozen or so edited images they want me to use.  Jim me sent on literally everything.  Hundreds of unedited shots of the entire process, beginning practice shots, outtakes and even  images most would consider non-usable.  I loved this for two reasons.  First, as most of you know, I love a story.  When a photographer sends on just 10 or 12 final shots, the story is already told.  With Jim, I felt I played a role in writing the story, choosing images to fit the theme, or story I wanted to tell.

Sometimes, in amongst the 100's of shots were half a dozens shots with a t-shirt, or in the case of Kinky Kings, a blue sweater.  Having the full session, I'm able to pick out my favorite shots, and present the images  in an way that reveals both model's body, as well as the story I'm wanting to tell.  I love a great reveal, sometimes the slower the better.  Anticipation is part of what I love about images of the male form, and when it comes to work I love, patience has a satisfying payoff. 

Having so many images also allows me to focus on smaller moments, some, many might find inconsequential.  I know for some photographers, a model removing their clothes isn't really even part of the shoot, but for Jim, it's an essential part of the story.  Sometimes three quarters of the images Jim sends on are of a model removing their clothing.  They're usually my favorite shots.

With Kings, there were literally dozens and dozens of shots of him removing his blue sweater.  Although I know most FH viewers don't want an entire piece featuring a hot model taking off their sweater... but, choosing the perfect two or three, for me, plays a role in the build us, and the degree of satisfaction with the final reveal. 

Of course after the shirt or blue sweater, it's time for the pants and underwear to then come off.  Once again, there were dozens and dozens of shots of Kings slowing slipping off his Calvin Klein boxer briefs.  Literally ever inch they slid down was captured by Jim, making it it a fun, but difficult task, to choose my favorites.   Jim also ensures to capture his reveals from different angles, ensuring there are plenty of shots of those blue boxers sliding down over both the models butt and penis.

Although I've also been fortunate to feature Jim's location work, my favorites usually end up being his sessions inside the studio.   I also really love that unless he's shooting for a holiday or specific theme, Jim rarely used props or backgrounds.   With the exception of the clothing they wear in the beginning, the focus is on model, the lighting, and how the model poses and utilizes the studio space. 

Sadly, Jim is no longer able to shoot in this particular studio space. Some of you may remember Jim that last year, Jim moved from his home on the West Coast to the other side of the country.  It's been a busy time, and Jim has yet to secure a new studio space he really loves.  I look forward to seeing what he creates when that eventually happens! 

Although Kings certainly comes off as sensual and self-confident in front of Jim's lens, this was actually his first shoot, and first time posing nude.  Kings is actually a photographer who Jim connected with through a model they both had worked with.  Kings was interested in starting up a Twitter and Onlyfans and asked if he could tag along with his friend's shoot with Jim.  

Kings obviously liked what he saw during the shoot and asked Jim about a shoot for himself.  They ended up doing quite a few looks during their studio session, including this series with the blue sweater.  Some of my other favorite shots included Kings slipping off some overalls.  Check those out, as well as more of Jim's thoughts on working with Kings on the NEXT PAGE HERE:
