During Spring Break, a fraternity built atop the burned ruins of an insane asylum is haunted by a sinister visitor.
I wasn't always a fan of David DeCoteau movies. I remember, like so many others I'm sure, feeling 'tricked' after renting them from Blockbuster. They appear to be your regular run of the mill soft-core nudity flick, but with a few exceptions, there is little to no nudity. I'm guessing many straight people were even more annoyed, given the main focus is hot guys in their undies.
Over the years however, I've gained an appreciation for the directors work. For starters, many young stars like Graham Rogers, and many others, got their start in DeCoteau films. Secondly, with so much nudity now available with just a click, sometimes I enjoy the slow burn of a soft-core scene.
Slow is the key word though. In 2011's 1313: Haunted Frat, the erotic scenes are sensual for sure, but also REALLY long and at times on repeat. As is the norm in most DeCoteau films, there is one female cast member. In this flick, she is a 'ghost' like figure who follows the hot guys around. Then, usually when they're in their undies, she does some sort of tame massage that turns the into tighty whitie wearing zombies.
For Brad, (Rogers) the voodoo moves take place when he's taking an outside shower. I'm not sure why they chose such long and baggie shorts for Brad's shower, but since Rogers does end up in tighty whities shortly after, I'll let it slide. The scene is LONG, much longer than the short clip below. It's hot for about 30 seconds, but quickly gets boring. It looks as if they just put about on minute of the scene on repeat. Brad's hair continues to go from dry to wet, to dray again as they replay the same sections again and again.
The last scene, although again too long, with a hottie wriggling around on the bed, did get my blood flowing. I wish there more shots of the group together, but on a David DeCoteau scale, I'd give it a 7 out of 10. You can download Graham's shower scene on SendSpace HERE: And the bed scene on SendSpace HERE:
