'If the world was ending, I'd wanna be next to you'
Lately, instead of drifting off to sleep to a sit-com, I've been listening to music. Problem is, I'm not into music as background noise, I like to give it all of my attention. That means sitting up, putting in my ear phones, and blasting it using a volume booster on Chrome. That means however, I end up staying up later than I should when I find a song that for the moment, I enjoy listening to.
I love me some Bruno Mars, and I especially love his live performances. Last summer, Bruno teamed with Lady Gaga on the song Die With A Smile. I liked the song, but it wasn't initially really that memorable. Then, I recently caught their live performance in Las Vegas from last year. For some reason, I heard the song very differently. Sure the staging, (and especially the lighting) was bit over the top, but it was Vegas and it all came together elevating the song with great performances.
