I didn't watch much of Gigolos when it first aired on Showtime. I remember watching a few episodes from season 1, which led to a 2013 piece on Gigolo Jimmy. (HERE:) I lost interest quickly though, and didn't continue watching. Yes, there was a fair amount of male nudity, but it was unsatisfyingly shot, and I just wasn't motivated to keep watching.
I recently saw a clip from a season 2 episode on social media, and decided to hunt down the episode. The show was from season 2, and three of Gigolos, (Jimmy, Brace and Nic) head to Box Bodywaxing Boutique for a little pubic, sac and crack waxing. Jimmy handles it like a pro, so well, Brace is pretty sure he 'self-medicated' before they arrived. Brace however, overall, also takes it in stride.
Nick struggles the most, passing on the pubic strip rip, and falling to the floor during the butt portion of the program. He's forced to return to ensure the wax in his crack can be removed. Yes, there is some nudity, but the most enjoyable part of the scene was the reactions to not only the wax, but to watching their buddies getting their treatments. Quite a few great one-liners in between the guys writhing in pain.
'If you move and jerk while I try to pull, it's not gonna be good.'
'You're going to be up on all fours, now relax your back.'
'I had no idea you stuck your ass in the air like that.'
'I'm gonna have nightmares of that woman for the rest of my life.'
'You still have wax hanging from your ass.'
