Actor in a Supporting Role

JOE PESCI in The Irishman

I couldn't find any images of Oscar nominee Joe Pesci which I would constitute as sexy or ones showing any skin.  I'm guessing that's maybe a good thing.  I did find a shot of Pesci (above) with Saturday Night Live nitwit, and real life nitwit Victoria Jackson.  The two co-starred in the 1985 TV movie Half Nelson.

ANTHONY HOPKINS in The Two Popes

It's funny how many of Hollywood's biggest movie stars have fun and interesting pasts on television.  Also back in 1985, Oscar nominee Anthony Hopkins co-starred along side Suzanne Somers, Andrew Stevens, Candice Bergin and more in Jackie Collin' Hollywood Wives.  I've seen a bit of it on Youtube, but despite it's heavy dose of 80's glitz and glamour, it didn't really hold my attention.

Hopkins in another actor without a lot early beefcake roles or images.  He does have to 'dark' butt scenes, but neither looked clear enough to cap.  I do wish there were more promotional shots from Hopkins turn in the 1971 stage production of The Architect of the Emperor of Assyria.  The shot above, and the poster below, certainly hint there was more to see...

TOM HANKS in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

Tom Hanks is another actor with a rich television past, from his roles on Bosom Buddies and Happy Days, and even a stint on The Love Boat that Hanks referenced when he won his lifetime achievement award a the Golden Globe's last month.  Check out my previous piece on Tom HERE:

AL PACINO in The Irishman

According to sources, in addition to Pacino's brief butt flash in Cruising (below) the talented actor also had a nude scene in 1971's The Panic in Needle Park.  I did find a copy of the film, but there was no nude scene in the version I watched.  If anyone know's if it exists, shoot me a line.

Actor in a Leading Role:

JONATHAN PRYCE in The Two Popes

Although I've seen few of Jonathan Pryce's film roles, he did play a big role in a part of my life.  When I got my first job at 16, I had a two hour, and three bus trip to and from work on the weekends.  I spent that time reading, and listening incessantly to Price on the original Broadway soundtrack for Miss Saigon.   I eventually saw the show on Broadway many years later, but Pryce had already left hs role as The Engineer.

ANTONIO BANDERAS in Pain and Glory
Above: Banderas in PestaƱas Postizas (1982)

Antonio Banderas was one of the first actors I saw naked on screen.  Although with renting the big screen hits, I usually stuck in a foreign film when renting from Blockbuster.  I learned quickly a Mexican film with Banderas on the cover was likely to include a little male flesh.

ADAM DRIVER in Marriage Story

I love Adam Driver, his uniquely sexy look, and his unique personality as well.  I have yet to bring myself to watch Girls, but have enjoyed Driver since first seeing him on-screen a few years ago in Inside Llewyn Davis and This Is Where I Leave You.

JOAQUIN PHOENIX in Joker

Like so many of this year's nominee's, Joaquin Phoenix began his career on television with roles on shows including Morningstar/Eveningstar, Hill Street Blues, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and as you can see from the image above, a turn with Angela Landsbury on Murder She Wrote.  The first time I saw the Joker was in the 1995 film To Die For.  I went for Nicole Kidman and Matt Dillon, but Phoenix was great, and very hot, in the film.

Actors & SKIN: Leonardo DiCaprio

'I was always the kid in school who tried to get attention, not necessarily the class clown, but I’d do little unexpected performances.'
Leonardo DiCaprio

After a few years on television (Growing Pains, Parenthood) Leonardo DiCaprio hit the screen in a series of films showcasing his acting range.  I always respected DiCaprio's character choices, and he never shied away from playing more offbeat quirky characters, especially early in his career.

Although it was hs turn as the romantic lead in 1997's Titanic that brought him super stardom, my favorite DiCaprio performances were some of his early supporting parts.  The actors supporting  roles in What's Eating Gilbert Grape,  Marvin's Room and The Basketball Diaries helped cement his reputation as s serious actor and the one to watch.

The Basketball Diaries (1995)

Total Eclipse (1995)

One of the roles that earned DiCaprio a big following for some, was his role as Arthur Rimbaud in 1995's Total Eclipse.  It was a brave choice for an up and coming actor, not just because of the full frontal nudity, but the gay romance between Arthur and his mentor Paul Verlaine. (David Thewlis)  The theory in Hollywood is so often that gay roles and on-screen nudity can hurt a young actor's career, but DiCaprio proved that's not always the case.

Romeo + Juliet (1996)

The Aviator (2004)

The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)

Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame
US: $858,373,000
International: $1,939,427,564
Overall: $2,797,800,564

Steve Rogers / Captain America (Chris Evans)

I have to admit, I'm not really a Marvel man.  I tend to agree with Martin Scorsese who doesn't believe the films are really art or great cinema.   I did enjoy the 2002 incarnation of Spider-Man with Toby Maguire, but since then, the franchise has churned them out like fast food, some may be enjoyable, but they have little to no lasting benefits.

Thanos (Josh Brolin)

That's not to say some aren't enjoyable, or even well done, but even hot hunks in latex costumes haven't drawn me to them.  Given however, that Avengers; Endgame was last year's biggest box office draw, I thought it deserved a little attention.  When looking over the films poster, I saw that every actor across the top credits on the poster, had not just an endgame, but a hind end nude scene amongst their credits.   Here are some of my favorites.

Rocket (Bradley Cooper)

Clint Barton / Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner)

Bruce Banner / Hulk (Mark Ruffalo)

Scott Lang / Ant-Man (Paul Rudd)

Thor (Chris Hemsworth)

James Rhodes / War Machine (Don Cheadle)

Tony Stark / Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.)
