ER ends a long and hugely successful run tonight. I LOVED ER it's first five or six seasons but stopped watching on a regular basis once most of the core cast had left and Dr. Carter was mostly featured away from the ER which I think most fans did not respond well to. I certainly tuned in from time to time and saw that the writing and acting was still top notch, but the magic for long time viewers was certainly gone. I began watching again this year for two reasons, Angela Bassett who rocks and the return of some old favorites. (The Anthony Edwards return Episode was a powerful hour of television). I will be watching tonight to say goodbye to a show that was a big part of the last decaded plus of my life! Goodbye ER.
