Fabien Lemaire's SEXLIFEPROJECT
I have profiled the work of fashion and art photographer Fabien Lemaire before on the blog. There is a beauty in Fabien's work that is both refreshing and inspiring. In particular I love his use of nature and environment. Today begins the next phase of Fabien's SexLifeProject. I encourage you to go to the links below to find out more about this massive project, but for those in France, England, The USA, Spain, Canada, Switzerland, Japan casting begins today.
Fabien Lemaire:
TheSexLifeProject:
Irrespective of age, appearance, origin or practice, our sexuality is a universal language. How we, as human beings experience it today ? What is the intimate relationship between our Sexuality and Freedom ? SexLifeProject is an Art Project directed by photographer Fabien Lemaire in Europe, Asia, America and Africa. It is about a human and artistic challenge, a sensitive and universal topic: Sexuality. While traveling, the artist meets couples, and goes along with them into the heart of their privacy, before, during and after making love. Without any pretensions and without any kind of commitment to pornography stereotypes, the objective of Fabien Lemaire is to create a human and living fresco in an attempt to reveal the deep meaning of sexuality.

The photographer raises his gaze on heterosexuals, gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, transsexuals, hermaphrodites. Human beings of all ages and physical conditions: able bodied, disabled, blind, deaf, thin, fat, black, white, Arabic, Asian, mixed race, from all social backgrounds . Fabien Lemaire’s eye is tactful, humble and subtle. It highlights the moments of happiness and enjoyment, the moments of consideration on what sexuality brings to everyone's life. The shooting takes place at the couples place far from the artificial lights of a studio. The purpose of this project is an audiovisual multimedia scenography through a biennial contemporary Art Show, culminating in a contemporary Art Museum.
