Shemar Moore is one of the hottest men on television, or anywhere for that matter. Incredible body, beautiful face and eyes and a sexy walk to boot! Moore has been all over TV the last couple of week promoting his new show S.W.A.T. and every time I caught him on a talk show, he annoyed the shit out of me. I was trying to figure out what exactly bugged me so much, and beyond his calling ever woman 'baby girl', I think it was his attitude of being 'too cool for school'.
There is nothing more off putting to me than someone who thinks they much cooler, hotter or more important than they actually are. CNN seems to love this type of individual, and appears to actively seek out 'cocky.' (Anthony Bourdain, Lisa Ling, Kamau Bell) Sometimes the 'attitude' is subtle, but you feel when you see it. Overconfidence and cockiness tend to stem from insecurities, and usually I keep this in mind and try not to judge. But.. with cockiness and arrogance unfortunately so presidential and prevalent, I find myself having less and less tolerance for it.
