Ok, to be honest, I didn't really watch A Christmas Miracle. I did DVR it, and did turn it on, but it didn't really grab my attention. I have caught the whole thing while working on a presentation slide show for work and then making some homemade egg rolls. I wanted to check it out for one reason, actor Brooks Darnell.
Brooks is an engaging actor, and incredibly handsome, but if anyone caught him The Young and the Restless, you also know he has an incredibly physique. It's not that Brooks had 'a' shirtless scene on the soap, it's that the show had him shirtless ALL THE TIME. He was always coming out of the shower, or coming downstairs shirtless, exercising shirtless, having conversations shirtless, but more than anything, they LOVED having him open the door shirtless.
I don't blame them, he looked amazing shirtless, and those 'opening the door' scenes always got some great reactions from the person on the other side of the door. I thought Darnell was fine as Nate, sadly the show decided to strip him, then quit him, replacing him with another actor. His replacement is fine, no better, no worse, but this time, they've kept his shirt on. I sort of felt bad for Darnell as it felt as if they used him for a little skin, then after they got their fill, decided to moved on. Hooray for Hollywood.... Glad to see the actor in a new role, even if kept under a heavy winter coat.
