Not sure how many of you have been able to check out the most recent series of The Great British Bake Off, but if you have, I'm sure you've taken note of the talented and tasty Sandro. If you haven't watched yet, he is a great reason to start!
The 30 year old London nanny was born in Angola but fled the Angolan war with his mom when he was just 2, settling then in London. Passionate about fitness, Sandro is a keen boxer and also has a background in ballet and breakdance too.
When Sandro was 21, his father passed away and he turned to baking as a form of therapy. Now he lives and breathes it, and he is often found rustling up bakes in a relaxed vibe with the TV on or running virtual baking classes for children with autism. He likes to infuse his bakes with flavors from his Angolan heritage — the spice of paprika paired with tangy cheese and sweet bakes smothered in sticky dulce de leche.
Sandro stood out from the first episode, and it's hard to focus on the baked goods when with his muscles bulging out of the beautifully tight t-shirts he often wears. He looked especially hot this past week during the show's Halloween themed week. Between his Halloween make-up and those black wings, Sandro was definitely an appetizing treat.
