Benoît Maréchal in Una gran voglia di vivere
I can't say that I immediately recognized the name, or the incredibly hot body, but I did recognize the name. When I saw some nude caps of actor and model Benoît Maréchal on the DC forms, I was sure I knew him from somewhere. The caps were posted by Drake, and the images, from the 2023 Italian film Una gran voglia di vivere. (Lust For Life) The video, thanks to xyzpdq and Scenes of Male Skin.
I quickly searched FH to see if I'd featured caps from another movie from the hot French actor. I did indeed do a post, way back in 2008, during the blogs first year. (HERE:) Benoît, now 44, would have been in his late twenties when I first featured his images, and the post focused on his career as a dancer and comedian. As hot as Benoît looked then, (below) I think he looks even hotter now and am glad to get reacquainted with the handsome Frenchman. An Afternoon in August: Seth by StudioMGphotography
'These waning days of summer, just before the season reluctantly fades to autumn, are the best.'
Summer doesn't officially end for another four weeks, but the countdown has definitely begun. In the North East, the back to school ads are in full swing, the nights are getting a wee bit cooler, and the crickets have begun their their annual Autumn orchestration. The dog days of summer are over, with the evenings getting darker earlier each night. Over the next few months, we'll lose one to two minutes of sunlight per day. By December, it will be dark before 5pm.
I'm not sure there's been a year when so many are looking forward to fall. It's been a hot summer for so many, a really wet summer for others. There's been the wildfires, and the wildfire smoke and even a California hurriquake! Bring on the cold, bring on the snow, bring on cozy nights with a fire, a good movie, and a glass or two of wine.
Ok, but lets not get ahead ourselves, it's still summer, at least for now. That makes it the perfect time to feature these incredible shots of Seth, shot during the waning day of summer by Mark from StudioMGphotography. Normally, I bug Mark about a model or shoot after seeing an image on his site or on his Instagram. This time, I spotted a shot of the stunning Seth on Twitter. I was scrolling through a random Twitter page when stopped in my tracks after seeing back shot of Seth.
I immediately zoomed in for a better view of Seth's breathtaking backside and his tantalizing tan lines. The image wasn't credited, but my zoom in confirmed that the image was indeed from one of my all time favorite chroniclers of the male form. I quickly got in touch with Mark about featuring the results of his August afternoon shooting with Seth.
'An afternoon on the lake . Memories of adventures, and memories of lazy afternoons spent doing hardly a thing. Long days outdoors, the warmth of sunshine on skin and no need to wear clothes, cool lake water lapping against the boat, an afternoon breeze, an owl hooting, fish jumping, the smell of dry leaves underfoot, jays calling to each other in the forest, unproved rumors of a bald eagle nearby… '
A friend of Mark's mentioned that he had a straight gym buddy named Seth who he thought would make a great model. He also thought given what he knew about Seth, that he'd be interested and intrigued with the idea. Seth was out of State on vacation when Mark first made contact, but as his friend predicted, was into the idea. Seth had never modeled before, let alone nude, but told Mark that he was all about trying new things.
'Seth had hardly any photos on his social media so he sent me a few shots to give me a better idea of his look. When we talked about prepping for the shoot I commented that ideally I ask models to have pubes for a fairly natural look, to which he snapped a selfie and sent it to me asking if they would work. I love a model who’s not shy!'
'Within days of his returning from vacation, and before he went back to school, we had a magical afternoon of shooting. Through the course of the day I learned that he’d been telling everyone about his upcoming nude shoot! '
