'Wyatt was a blast to work with. Even though he was just starting out, he was very open within his boundaries, open to trying new things and attacked each shoot as a learning experience.'
When I first saw Jim's (Studio1x) shots of Wyatt, I knew I wanted to feature them on the site. First off, I loved his look. His beautiful long hair, great body and facial features. He reminded me a bit of a young Vincent Ventresca, especially when he had longer hair during his guest appearance on Friends. (HERE:)
Further, I loved the fact that Jim shot Wyatt on location, in the middle of the city, out on streets, and on the bridge. If you follow FH, you know how much I love Jim's studio shoots,(HERE:) and his skill at creating dynamic images with his use of lighting, a dark background and imaginative poses. Jim also beautifully uses fashion, usually as a curtain, which eventually gets moved to the side.
For this shoot however, Jim was shooting Wyatt on location. Because they were shooting outside during the day, in the middle of a city, the clothes had to mostly on. I loved however, seeing another side of Jim's creative repertoire, one focused on fashion, form and Wyatt's distinctive face and looks.
Although Wyatt looks like a natural, this was actually one of his first shoots. Wyatt wasn't sure modeling was going to be a career path, but wanted to check it out. Given his great face and fit physique, many of his friends and family members suggested he give it a try. He decided to put his trust in Jim, and they shot several times, in studio, on location and in a group photoshoot.
Jim wanted ensure Wyatt was given a complete experience of everything involved in being a male model. This started with shopping! Jim acted as Wyatt's personal shopper when they out to find just the right looks for their outdoor shoot. Wyatt tried on many different outfits before deciding on the items you see in this series of images.
As part of providing Wyatt with the full experience, after shooting outside, they did return to Jim's studio for some additional shoots. Given this was Wyatt's first experience modeling, he wasn't quite ready for the full Monty, but he was up for pushing his boundaries and showing a bit more skin than he could while posing on the street. Check out those shots on the NEXT PAGE HERE:
