'I became convinced that I could produce good art featuring nude men, and that life was too short to not at least try to make a go of it..'
I first connected with ClearEye Photography over a decade ago. I was features editor for Dylan Rosser's on-line tMf Magazine and interviewed the Ohio based photographer for a story in issue #7. I loved ClearEye's work, and how his name fit the clear focus he had on his subject, the nude male form. I also loved that although ClearEye had been shooting for decades, he had only recently started shooting male nudes.
Although it was something he'd wanted to do for a long time, the obstacles made is seem almost impossible. The task of finding beautiful men willing to be photographed nude seemed especially daunting. If you follow FH, you know that clearly, that obstacle was magnificently, and erotically accomplished.
I also have a special affinity for the studio ClearEye frequently uses, with it's open spaces, hardwood floors, and tall window. Many FH viewers know how much I love window images, not only for their natural light, but for their reflective qualities, both actual, and symbolical.
