Sorry, I know this story is almost 10 years old, but for some reason it passed me by when it first came out. Since it was revived on a Twitter thread this past weekend, and it's smack on subject for FH, I wanted to share. Maybe there's a few others like me, who missed how problematic actor Richard Madden's penis was for Disney.
The headline from MTv news sort of pops out at you, and involves Madden's turn as Prince Charming in Disney's 2015 life action adaptation of Cinderella. It seems Madden's bulge made some of the Disney's executives a little nervous, and they went to great lengths to ensure nothing specific, (size, shape or girth) was seen through the pair of white tights that Madden was wearing in one scene.
Madden discussed everything he and his genitals went through to hide his penis bulge on an episode of The Graham Norton show. You can check out the clip on Youtube HERE: It seems they went through several different jockstraps before deciding on a crotch corset that Madden shares was 'really, really' tight. So tight in fact, the tight squeeze made him feel sick.
I'm not exactly sure how I missed this back in 2015, but glad it's again making the rounds. Although Madden hasn't done any full frontal nude scenes, we have got a glimpse of what's under those tights, at least from the back anyway. From this story, maybe Madden should have played Theon instead of Rob on Game of Thrones....
