I didn't know The Twelve Dates 'Til Christmas was a Hallmark mini-series until watching the first episode. Initially I thought it was just a one-off holiday film, and tuned it because one of the stars was Julian Morris. I've featured the juicy Julian several times on the site, including a previous 12 Days post in 2021. (HERE:)
The film follows Kate, (Mae Whitman) a textile pattern designer living in Blexford, England, who lives next door to her father Mac. Kate spends much of her time caring for Mac, who is recovering from a motorcycle accident and rarely leaves his recliner Kate is also looking for a little Christmas nookie, which requires multiple dates with multiple men.
One of those holiday hotties was Richard, played by the stunningly beautiful English actor Toby Sandeman. As much as I love Morris, as soon as Sandeman appeared on screen, I quickly switched my focus, and my 12 Days subject. In addition to acting, the sexy Sandeman is also an international model who has worked with Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and worked with Naomi Campbell for Vogue magazine..
Before a family friend helped him into the modeling world, Sandeman was already famous as an athlete. Sandeman is a double gold medalist winner represented Great Britain in the 200 m at the UK Athletics national championships in 2009, and followed this with two gold medals at the European Athletics U23 Championships. A hamstring injury however, led to him switching his focus to acting.
