Many FH readers know how much I love films from the 70's, especially horror, drama and gay themed films. Even a bad film from the 1970's can be a cinematic look back on an interesting time in history. 1975's, A Saturday Night at the Baths is definitely a fascinating look back a unique window of time for the gay community.
I wasn't conceived, nor even thought of in 1974, the year A Saturday Night at the Baths was both filmed and set in, but it's a fascinating time to look back on. This was a unique period of time for those in the community, pretty much halfway between the Stonewall riots in 1969, and the onset of the AIDS crisis in the early 80's.
