Philippe Touzel in Marinella

Marinella is a delightful comedy that explores the theme of the desire for artistic recognition. Starring Victoria Abril, the play offers moments of laughter and hilarious misunderstandings.

I love it when so many themes I love come together.  For this piece it begins with the nude male form of course.   The form in question here belongs to Philippe Touzel, an actor who describes himself as 'French Canadian, somewhere between Paris, and the countryside.  Sounds beautiful, just like Touzel's derriere.

The Canadian, who now lives in Paris, was part of the play Marinella directed by François Hanss.  The play was staged last year at the Madeleine Theatre in Paris.  This brings me to my second theme, the nude male form on stage.  The third theme includes a nude art model. The scene also incorporates yet another, a forth theme that I love exploring, that features elements of CFNM and CMNM.  As you can see from watching the clip below, they're all there, beautifully intertwined.

Marinella, a quirky and seductive artist, seeks recognition in the art world. But she isn't appreciated for her true worth. The painter receives a handsome, young, and sexy stallion at her home as a model. Her older husband finances her work, but he's in debt and wishes the artist would sell more. Their relationship is tested when Marinella receives an attractive offer from a wealthy sardine producer....

Victoria Abril plays the lead Marinella, bringing an energy and vitality that transports the audience into a whimsical and sparkling world. The other actors include: Didier Brice, Isabelle De Botton, Christophe Canard, Lois Vial  and of course Philippe Touzel, as our naked art model.  Thanks to DC posters tonyfrench and espeon88 for the video.
