Nudes-A-Poppin:

'Spectators were allowed to take photographs but the use of video cameras required a permit.'

So, all these naked hotties holding trophy are from a contest called Nudes-A-Poppin. I'm guessing some readers knew of the competition which was held annually from the mid-seventies  up until 2019.  Although I'd seen many images from the event, I only found out the details this week.

Nudes-A-Poppin was held at the Ponderosa Club in Indiana, and was basically a nudist beauty pageant.  Although some members of the club took part, it was also open to others, so contestants also included local dancers and strippers.  Although there were events for both men and women, most years, the nudists were mostly women, with the audience, mostly men.  Over the years more men began to take part as it seems like quite a bit of fun.

Before men began to enter,  (around 2013) it was basically known as the  Miss Nude contest.  The Ponderosa Sun Club was family nudist resort and the contest began to both attract attention to the resort, and as a fund-raiser for the resort as well.  It became very well known, and brought in thousands of tourists, contributing those tourist dollars to the local community.  The last official contest was in 2019, with future events sadly cancelled because of the COVID pandemic.

In addition the the nude beauty pageant, Nudes-A-Poppin' included other events including; naked oil-wrestling, wet T-shirt contests and sexiest pole dancer.  Reports are the club wanted the event to be as 'professional' as possible and set rules for participants.  These included no overly explicit performances, as well as no sexual contact with others attending the event.  Wonder how that one turned out....

And the trophy 🏆 goes to.....
