Horror Hunks: John Karlen in Daughters of Darkness

'You're not afraid of a little water are you?'

I was a little young to watch Cagney & Lacey when it originally aired.  I have however, since grown to love and respect the show's two female leads, and have caught a few reruns.  I do however remember, the opening theme song, and being sent to bed by my parents around the start of the show.  If you had tole me then, I'd be one day watching, writing and creating a post featuring a nude scene featuring the actor who played Harvey Lacy, I would not have believed you.

Thanks to DreamCap however, here we are.  One of my favorite posters on the form KC, often introduces me to hotties, both new and old, of soft porn.  Last October, KC did a post featuring caps of actor John Karlen from the 1971 vampire horror flick, Daughters of Darkness. I was going to a post then, but waited to find a copy, and watch the entire film.  I did so this week.

In the film, a newlywed couple encounters a mysterious, strikingly beautiful countess and her aide. The couple, including Karlen as Stefan, meet the mysterious duo while passing through a vacation resort.  As you can see from the clip, it doesn't end well.  It's a bit of a convoluted death scene based on the running water in the shower.

In Vampire mythology, running water acts as an impenetrable barrier or a purifying force that vampires cannot cross on their own.  The scene did however give a good reason to get the two hot leads naked.  Karlen does indeed have a seventies sexiness about him, and as you can see, had to strip completely naked for the scene, including the CFNM elements near the end.
