Plow Ahead! 🚜

'What you plant today, you will harvest tomorrow...'

The visual stereotype of a farmer usually mean a middle-aged, or older white man wearing overalls, a lot of plaid, and flannel, a baseball cap and a worn-out pair of work boots.  We also usually picture them holding a pitchfork and driving an old, rusty pickup truck.  Many believed they live simple lives, are uneducated and with few goals beyond the borders of their land.

I live in a rural, farming area, and although I see examples of the cultural stereotype, most farmers in my area are far from the visual norm.  Given the changes in the labour market, many children of farmers, young men and women who thought they'd never take over the family farm, have changed their tune.  Many of the famers in my area are young, some are single, some are young couples, with many gay and lesbian farming families.

Advances in technology means that science is now as important, or more important than being physically up to the job.  So many spend their time in labs and offices, leaving the hard labour to machines and students and foreign workers they hire for the season.  The success of their crops is as tied to research and new advancements as it is to the elements and sweating in the fields on a hot summer day.  Heading my local farm markets, I'm likely to see new farmers, many hot young hunks selling their crops alongside older men and women who've been farming for years.

There are actually a few groups, organizations and farms that promote nude farming.  I'm not talking about just social media groups like The Naked Farmers, or field hotties persuaded to post nude for a charity calendar.  I'm also not taking about male models and adult film actors creating sensual scenarios of plowing and seeding.

It is not uncommon for nudist groups and camps to plant and harvest their own food.  Individual nudists also partake, if they live in private spaces, or have fences high enough to ensure nosy neighbours don't get to enjoy the show. Three are also farms like the Rising Sun Farm located in River Falls, Wisconsin.  This farm has operated as a clothing-optional working farm where proprietors work nude for practical comfort during hot weather.

It really doesn't matter whether these nude farmers are naturally naked, or manifested visually for a fantasy.  There is just something organically orgiastic about seeing a naked man, sweating under the hot sun while operating a heavy piece of machinery.
