What God Had Graced: Dakota by Studio1x

They crept up to the sleeping Scotsman quiet as could be
Lifted up his kilt above the waist so they could see
And there behold for them to view beneath his Scottish skirt
Was nothing but what God had graced him with upon his birth

'So....Sunday evening comes, Dakota was very prompt on his arrival time. We made a bit of small talk and then started the shoot. He brought a bottle of bourbon to loosen up a bit which was perfect as we were able to use that as a prop as well. I found Dakota to be very easy to work with, and as you can see he is very good looking with a great body.'

Jim shares that Dakota took his direction well, without any eye rolls, and didn't tell him he was bat shit crazy with some of the poses and idea's Jim wanted to capture.  Although Dakota had done several shoot before this one with Jim, Jim was only the third photographer he'd worked with but was very comfortable with the nudity which Jim says made the shooting process very easy.

'Dakota had a very good sense of humor and there were a bunch of laughs along with more than a smart ass comments. A couple of his quotes that stick out in my mind that he said during the shoot were "Being in the military, I have seen enough dicks to last me a life time" He also said that by doing this type of a shoot and having it posted, no one will ever be able to threaten him that they will post his nudes on line." He'll now be able to laugh and reply that they are already there!'

Jim shares that it wasn't only a fun and productive night, but they as they were capturing some great shots, he and Dakota built a great working relationship.  They've already done another shoot after this one (which I promise to bug Jim about featuring) and are working on scheduling a third!

'Working with a model for the first time, there can be surprises and this time was no exception. I noticed he had some very nice tattoos but was a bit surprised once he undressed to see that he had one on his butt. Not only a tattoo on his butt but a funny one, a smiley face that said "don't worry, be happy" Made me laugh as it did not fit in with his other tattoos but he stated that it was his first tattoo and being in the military he was not allowed to have any showing so he decided to get this one on his butt.'

'Being winter, I kept the same theme as the last two, Thanksgiving and Valentines, having it cold. I had the heater on all day to warm up the garage studio but it was still quite chilly but Dakota was a trooper and didn't complain at all during the shoot about being cold. We did take some warm up breaks where he sat in front of the heater. After about shooting for 3-4 hours we finally called it a night as he still needed to get dinner and make it home in the snow.'

Thanks so much to Jim for the incredible shots for organizing the shoot without a lot of time! Thanks to Dakota for being the perfect model to wear, then drop the kilt to celebrate all things Irish. Thanks especially for risking the weather and driving through the snow to and from Jim's studio.
