Many of you I'm sure have seen the meme circulating this past week featuring actor Kevin James in his role as Doug Heffernan from the sit-com King of Queens. The meme first appeared on Twitter by a poster with the caption, 'Me after 1 double rum and diet.' The poster stated they attempted to have the image go viral before, but with the King of Queens celebrating it's 25th anniversary this week, the meme really took off.
The meme had really taken off when Senator John Fetterman used it to express his feelings on all the attention his clothes have been getting, especially after Chuck Schumer attempted to relax the senates dress code. The meme, and it's popularity, had me searching through my draft folder for a post I started, then abandoned, about Kevin, and his character on the King of Queens.
