'The lifestyle vibe was really great and felt natural.'
I've featured hundreds of shoots over the years, and some of my favorites spotlight the 'lifestyle vibe.' By lifestyle, I mean shoots in which the photographer acts as almost an invisible spectator, following the model through parts of their routine daily activities. In this case, the model is Josh. Josh is an ort exhibitionist for sure, and loves being naked, and being seen. He also likes to keep an air of erotic enigma within his work.
The last time we enjoyed Josh on FH was last Easter. In that shoot, (HERE:) Joshed donned a selection of bunny masks, eventually revealing both his face, and the goodies within his Easter basket. For this shoot, with Toronto based photographer Adam W, the vibe was more ' a day in the life', capturing Josh hanging out at home. Given it was a hot, sunny day, Josh stripped down to ensure that his bare skin absorbed as much of the sun's heat and light as possible.
Adam W was the perfect artist to capture the naked, and lifestyle aesthetic. A former fashion director and editor for numerous men’s fashion magazines, Adam worked for various lifestyle magazine across Canada, capturing 'moments of living' for both fashion and lifestyle brands. Although Josh ended up posing mostly naked, Adam's focus on fashion also led to some hot fashion pieces and pops of color, before the undies and jockstraps came off.
Josh originally connected with Josh on ModelMayhem a few years back. It was during the height of the pandemic, and not many models and photographers were shooting in person. They ended up doing a few remote shoots before finally meeting up in Toronto last year to shoot in person. The discussed and planned the minimal fashion options, and tried to schedule on a sunny day. Because it was a lifestyle shoot, with a 'natural vibe', Josh decided to forgo his usual waxing routine.

Josh loved the final images, especially Adam's skill with composition, lighting and color. They've now had two shoots together, and are planning a third. Both want to continue the lifestyle theme, maybe moving to other rooms of the house. Josh especially loves shooting int he kitchen, but they also want to move to the bedroom, and bathroom shower, the next time they're together.
