When I was looking for a UK born actor to spotlight today the choices were endless! I've crushed over, and enjoyed so many English actors and projects over the year. Every couple of years there seems to be a new crop of young actors to follow and admire. Currently, I'm watching UK based shows and movies starring Louis Partridge, Leo Woodall, Ben Barnes and of course everything Jonathan Bailey related.
Instead of going for the obvious, or maybe more accurately, the well-known, I went with an actor I'm guessing you do know, but maybe don't realize it. Elliot Knight was born in Birmingham, close to a three hour drive from London. He got his start professionally in 2012 playing the lead in the UK series Sinbad.
Although Knight got his start on British television, I, and many of you, got our first look with Knight's appearances on American shows. Some of you may remember seeing Knight on shows including: Once Upon A Time, American Gothic, The Boys and How to Get Away with Murder.
I think I first saw Knight rolling around in bed with Michaela, (Aja Naomi King) in two episodes of How to Get Away with Murder. I really started to fanboy however, after seeing his nude scene, and his memorable tattoo in a season 3 episode of Hacks. This time, Knight was playing Davide, but yet again, Knight was rolling around in bed, this time with Marcus. (Carl Clemons-Hopkins) Unfortunately, after Marcus spots the Deborah Vance tattoo on Davide's beautiful ass, things take a turn. Thanks to xyzpdq for the video clip!
