If you happen to be in Sydney, Australia this week, you might want to check out In A Cup of Teat at  Carriageworks.  Drawing on Japanese folklore, ghost stories and dream narratives, artist Luke Hardy presents a new selection of photographs at Photo Sydney 2026. The presentation brings together works from the ongoing FOXFIRES, SHADOWINGS and THE WAKING DREAM series, including the exhibition premiere of Kitsune-bi/Foxfires #20.

Working between photography and collage, Luke Hardy constructs layered images that explore memory, transformation and the space between waking and dreaming. Inspired by Japanese visual culture and storytelling traditions, the works blur the boundaries between the real and the imagined. The Sydney Contemporary begins tomorrow the 3rd and runs for three days until September 6th.  Tickets are on sale now, with savings of up to 20% when you buy online HERE:
