Bob Burkhardt
Although Atlanta photographer Bob Burkhardt doesn't exclusively shoot men of color, his work celebrates every inch and detail of their bodies and souls. So many artists ignore the extraordinary beautify of a man's lines and curves, sometimes even more so, if it's a man of color. Curves are my favorite part of the male form, especially when skillfully and artistically captured. When I first saw Bob's work back in 2012, it was those curves, in particular Marvin's curves (in this image) that had me contacting Bob about featuring his work. Bob's imagery never seem rushed. Instead, providing the viewer a lingering appreciation for the beauty and erotic detail in front of his lens.
