FH is all about moments of male skin and as has become tradition, the end of the year means taking a look back at the year in skin, cinema skin that is! Some of these moments were favorites of mine, others were not. All however, generated a lot of buzz, not to mention caps, gifs and clips on-line.
It only lasted a split second, but actor Murray Bartlett dining out on Lucas Gage made many viewers jaws drop while watching White Lotus. This mark's actor Lucas Gage's second FH New Year's Eve appearance. Last year, I featured the holiday horror flick Midnight Kiss (HERE:) that also included a few scenes of Cage's delicious derrière.
Some of the best on-screen nudity is when it's so unexpected. I first fell in lust with actor Sebastian Stan after seeing him in The Covenant. (2006) I've followed his career since, and still miss the short lived series Political Animals. I never expected a full frontal, but that's exactly what Stan gifted us with in the film Monday.
So these two moment of male skin were not filmed in 2021, but this past year, was the first time they saw the light of day. Actor Robert Romanus's full frontal (HERE:) was cut from 1982's Fast Times At Ridgemont High. It was restored in this year's Criterion Collection release.
The 2021 Val Kilmer documentary Val, included a scene with Kevin Bacon and Sean Penn mooning (b backstage during the stage production of The Slab Boys. (HERE:)
I thought Michael B. Jordan might be an actor who went his entire career without doing a nude scene. Thankfully I was wrong with Jordan's juicy backside making an appearance in the recently released A Journal For Jordan. (above)
It was a nice surprise to hear about , then check out, Oscar Isaac's frontal from Scenes From A Marriage. It was then annoying to then hear the many different spins the actor put on his exposure, including being surprised that his full frontal scene actually aired.... I guess he wasn't prepared for the attention the scene got, but me thinks he doth protest too much.
Actor Josh O'Conner is a prince when it comes to delivering for his subjects. The Crown's Prince Charles Josh had some great on-screen nudity in 2017's God's Own Country, (HERE:) and released the crown jewels again in 2021's Mothering Sunday.
I'm not a fan of 'blink or you'll miss them' frontals. I don't begrudge Bradley Cooper (Nightmare Alley) or Benedict Cumberbatch (The Power of the Dog) Both seemed to have gone full frontal, Cumberbatch covered in mud and Cooper's tip submerged in a bathtub. My issue is with the film's publicity departments.
Both 'frontal's' were in the press months before each of the films release, and because of this, both ended up being a little disappointing. I'd personally rather have a great underwear or butt scene than a wee flash of obscured frontal.
Rumor's are Simon Rex wore a prosthetic in Red Rocket, and who knows. In Rex's case, I really don't care. His penis is in the male form lovers history books, and I'm just glad to see and read a positive story about an actor who's past was in nude jack-off video work. We hear so many sad stories about former porn actors, I'm pulling for Rex to break the stereotypes surrounding their video past.
There are so many men and women making money on OnlyFans today, Some of them will one day be doctors, teachers, lawyers and politicians. I hope they won't won't be held back and that Rex is starting to change perceptions. Sean Ford for President anyone?
