Fright Night: Actors & Skin

'You don't have to be afraid of me. I know what it's like being different. Only they won't pick on you anymore... or beat you up. I'll see to that. All you have to do is take my hand. Go on. Take my hand!'
Jerry Dandrige

Chris Sarandon

I certainly wouldn't have fought taking Jerry's hand, especially given Jerry was played so deliciously by actor Chris Sarandon.   I never saw it at the time, but as I got older, I certainly felt Sarandon's sex appeal and allure.  As stated, I did a piece last summer, thinking the actors only nude scene was his darkly lit butt scene from the 70's flick Lipstick. (HERE)

Temptress (1995)

When recently looking again, I noticed Sarandon had another butt scene, this time from the 1995 softcore flick Temptress. Given the film was produced by the Playboy Entertainment Group, most of the nudity was from the female cast members.  We did however, get another darkly lit butt reveal from Sarandon.  Given I initially thought he had no on-screen nudity, finding two, even darkly lit, was a nice surprise.  You can download the scene above on SendSpace HERE:

Roddy McDowall

My main memories of actor Roddy McDowall are when I was an adult and discovered his work in classic films like The Planet of the Apes and The Poseidon Adventure.  There's something about The Poseidon Adventure that has me checking it out whenever it airs on TCM.

Angel, Angel, Down We Go (1969)

The black and white nude above is credited to McDowall and it's said that early in his career, before making it in the business, he posed nude for photographers of the male physique.  Given the British actor began his career as a model, this makes sense.  As far as on-screen nudity, the only scene I could find was a brief butt shot in the 1969 drama .Cult of the Damned (Angel, Angel, Down We Go)

Jonathan Stark

In My Brother's Keeper, a 1990 episode of Tales from the Crypt, actor Jonathan Stark, who played Billy Cole in Fright Night played Eddie, one half of a set of Siamese twins. His other half was played by actor Timothy Stack.

Tales from the Crypt (1990)

One timid and kind-hearted and the other reckless and sadistic, must make a decision on whether or not to allow an experimental surgery to have them separated even though one of them doesn't want to be split from the other.  Given it was Tales from the Crypt, you can guess it didn't end well.  Given the context of the butt scene, I'm not if it was the actors, body doubles, or prosthetics, but it's the only nudity I could find for Stark.

It's not not surprising that there was not much on Stark the actor out there. After appearing in a number of big screen hits and guest starring on television, Stark moved behind the camera. First,  as a writer, writing for several TV shows including Cheers, The Nanny and The Drew Carey Show.  He also wrote episodes for a couple of shows he produced including Ellen and According to Jim.

That brings us to actor Stephen Geoffreys, (below l) who played Evil Ed in the film. After a few more successful turns in films in the 1980's, his career took a sharp turn, into gay porn.  Check out more in the post below
